Yahoo email question

Has it changed within the last few days? Suddenly..the screen when I log into my Yahoo email is totally different...blue and white. The Sign in/out is now on the right side of the screen where last week it was on the left. Last week there was the "delete" option at the bottom of an email to use after you read it, you can just go on down and delete instead of scrolling all the way back up to the top to delete.THe option of "trash", "move" "Spam" etc that were on top with the words and icon for each, are not there, but now there are arrows for them, only way you know what they arrows are for is to hover and it will tell you in the cloud.
I have tried everywhere i can see/think of to make changes and can't find anything I have done nothing to my PC or any programs .. I am a novice, I don't tinker much unless I know what I am tinkering with!
Does anyone else have this problem, and if so or even if you don't ....does anyone know how to make the Yahoo email page go back to the way it was last week (in appearance)? I have asked Yahoo Help, but as you all probably know...getting an answer from there is something that seldom happens in this life time! I have MOzilla for my browser..and no other problems anywhere else that I use internet for! Thanks for any help!

Yahoo appear to have gone back to an older website style - one which they used to call the 'Classic' - in the last day or so. The way that it looks now is more or less the way that it used to look five years ago.
I don't know why they have done this and, so far, I haven't seen any news or notification from Yahoo about it.

Okay, that's out of hand....bringing back the past to "assume" a new look for the future!!! Serious! I don't know why they think they have to change all the time...it was fine as it was! And with this one...so many of the "updates" are now gone! I was so addicted to that "Delete" button on the bottom instead of having to scroll back up to delete an email! Are they telling us the past is better than the current/future?!!?!??!LOL!!!!

Yahoo is going down and there is no innovation left in them. Yahoo mail has changed recently and they have tried to copy Gmail. The design is now that of gmail. On right side it is same as Gmail where it shows ur details just next to your name and all that. So if you are used to Gmail then it shouldn't cause any problems for you.

Do you actually mean Yahoo is kind of fading out? I REALLY DON'T want to have to learn another email procedure and change addys and all! Good grief..this "new" internet junk is getting out of hand!!!! I hate to waste so much time always having to "update" and change what didn't need updated or changed!!!!!

that question is mainly aimed to tackle spam and also other sort of things and new sort of tinkering ways to use it.There are more ways to get rid of spam in yahoo and we need to get over it soon

Like another mylotter, I am glad that you posted this discussion. I wondered it it was a problem on my side but came to the conclusion that Yahoo has changed the screen of Yahoo Emails. I do not ever remember receiving a notification that this was going to be done. I have had on and off problems with Yahoo mail for the past year or two. I continue to have problems. I thought the change was part of the ongoing problem. I am getting used to the new look which looks a little strange.

Hi! I had the same problem, yes! The page is dark blue and white and the appearance of the inbox has changed. I thought it was a virus and my email was hacked so I changed all my passwords and scanned my computer but itvwas clean of viruses. Then I deleted and re-installed mozilla and nothing changed.
Your post has been really helpful for me because I was wondering the same thing and I didn't think about posting it here! Lol
I am not sure why this happened, I want my old yahoo inbox back too! :-)

Wow! for the first time EVER, someone else has the same problem I have! LOL!! Really, usually I ask things and although people are helpful in suggestions, none of them have had that same thing happen to them! Oh well, at least we are all okay. I just get so tired of them changing all the time! Good grief.... I just got used tot he sign out being on the left upper corner after coming from the right upper corner, and now it is back to the right again!!!

Yes it has changed considerably as I have it too and the email structure is quite not the same. I am getting used to it though. It is all about change with some web sites or they upgrade too much. It is hard for some people to keep up with. I like the way it was before. Same as some other sites. I don't think going to yahoo for help is going to do anything, they don't even have an option on the email settings to go back to the original way this time. It sucks but things could be worse and you could not have yahoo mail anymore to use. I try to look at the small stuff that way. Sometimes it helps, LOL.
