Lampard could be leaving Chelsea

Frank Lampard has hinted that he may leave Chelsea sometime soon.
He has struggled to get playing time this season, and he is not as good as a few years ago (at least in my opinion). I can't really see what club he would go to if he decided to leave Chelsea- he is near the end of his playing career. Maybe he could end up in the United States?

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well it is very disappointing to hear that Lampard would be leaving Chelsea. i know he must be even feeling bad for this as he has been associated with this club since years and i think every player takes this decision at some point of time of his or her career and the decision depends completely on that particular player. While sometimes this happens due to the tiff between the player and the team manager or coach and sometimes it happens due to the inconsistent form.
What say?

I think with Lampard it's more that he is getting up there in age so isn't as good anymore, and therefore doesn't play as much. I can't see him getting that much playing time this season for Chelsea, so I'm pretty sure he'll leave at the end of the season.

I think Lampard is leaving Chelsea. It is indeed sad that an icon of a club is calling it a day but the day will definitely come after on the top for 12 years in the club. While playing in the USA and China could earn him a lucrative contract, I hope he could join another EPL club and play for as long as his body permits.
Lampard is a model professional. He will be an asset for any teams with young players.
