As a back story for my new ear piercing, I've been wanting to have my right ear done for almost a year now, but I kept on stepping back because I'm really kind of afraid 'coz I had a bad experience with ear piercing when I was a child. So, today I got a scapha earring, the truth is, I really didn't plan to get it done today or any sooner at that, it's just a whim. I was really annoyed that the shoes I was eyeing for weeks is no longer available just when I finally decide to purchase it so to unleash the annoyance I felt, I went to the jewelry store just a few stalls ahead. It was my first time to get an ear piercing with a gun, and I like it more than the use of a needle or pins. I did some research today on how to clean it and what to use when doing so. Before, I was taught to use alcohol or baby oil with new ear piercings, but I discovered that alcohol isn't really advisable and I didn't even see any posts online about the use of a baby oil. I also found that it's not also good to use a gun when piercing the scapha because it may damage the bones so now I'm really worried, 'coz I also read that someone's ear got infected and her ears got deformed that she had take surgery to repair it. I really think that I shouldn't have researched anything about it at all because now I'm all worried about my thoughtless ear piercing, although I cannot deny the self-fulfillment when I got it. Is it true that it may take 9 to 12 weeks for the scapha piercing to heal? What did you use to clean it?
