I have visited this place once. It's at Eglinton and Yonge. The reason of visit was a free tryout of a salsa dancing lesson.
My girlfriend and I were told ahead of time to come 15 minutes earlier, so that we wouldn't be late. We followed this instruction completely, and ended up being told by a security guard that we had to wait outside 9 minutes before the damn lesson would start. Otherwise, the club would call the police and charge me and my girl with trespassing.
We wouldn't mind waiting outside in summer, but it was a recent event, and December nights in Toronto are quite chilly.
We found that place despicable and decided not to show up for that salsa class anyways. Again, an old story told - free isn't necessarily good.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well yes u are absolutely right, i feel extremely bad for u guys and i know u and your girlfriend would have been excited for the dancing lessons and that is the reason why u guys were waiting outside before time.
I think such people who are organizing these free lessons and are later on disrespecting the people should be punished heavily and they do not have any right to treat people like this. Do not worry many such opportunities would come your way.
What say?
