Simple Habit

One of the ways to slim down FAST, and also to become stronger is to do simple exercising. I know this sounds redundant because you hear it all the time, but my approach is totally different. I injured myself long time ago (about 6 years or so). After two surgeries related to my injury, I, of course, gained a lot of weight. Working out an hour or two a day was hard - no stamina, no power, nothing. So, what I had to do is split my exercises throughout the whole day. And it was EASY! I just did 5-10 push-ups and/or 5-10 squats each hour. Within a day, I would end up doing 80-100 of push-ups and 80-100 of squats. And it worked - I slimmed down in about a month. You see - you can do the same amount of work by splitting the whole work in little parts. This way, you don't get tired, you get exercising done every hour, and the benefit is - you slim down REALLY fast. This small regularity is very important. Regular but small number of repetitions would be much better than once a day but a lot of repetitions. This improves your stamina, too. You get to increase your repetitions slowly by each hour, and then much more repetitions are done in a day than ever during one 2-hour daily session. Try this approach, and let me know about your progress. I bet you will feel the difference in a month.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i am very happy to hear that u have lost weight so beautifully that it is sufficient to become an example for all of us who believe that weight loss can be achieved by artificial means. I think breaking the exercise session into different parts is a very good idea and it has clearly shown in your case. I think we should approach this method and i am sure those who are battling weight issues should definitely give it a try and see the difference. What say?

Exactly, this approach is very helpful. All of the concerned should put it to the test. So far, it has worked for me and another friend of mine who has joined Canadian Forces. He's a lieutenant now, and doesn't plan to stop serving at all. He's got a pretty successful full-time career in Canadian Army, and he's happy.

Exercise in shorter duration of time will encourag - Exercise in shorter duration of time will encourage more people to start.
I agree with your method, and I am glad to know that it works. Time is always a factor or an excuse to not starting to exercise for many people. But if we could just do it in short duration of time, but do it more through out the day, it will encourage more people to really do something to slim down. Thanks for sharing.
