Wheel of Fortune or The Price is Right?

If you had the choice would you rather go on Wheel of Fortune or The Price is Right? I guess this is a weird question, but I think if I were American I would rather go on Wheel of Fortune than on TPIR because you have atleast a slightly better chance of winning (1/3 chance of making it to the bonus/end round no matter what). Where as, with The Price is Right, you can make it on, but you might get on at the end of the show and only have one or two chances to bid on a prize.. Which is no good. However, since I am Canadian, and therefore unable to partake as a contestant on Wheel of Fortune, I would really have to choose to go on The Price is Right because I know that Canadian citizens are able to go on this show.

Ah so you share the same opinion as I do then. Fair enough. Yes, I love Wheel of Fortune, if they ever decide to come to Canada for some sort of syndicated version or something then I will be one of the first people to apply!

I like both shows. Doesn't seem fair that u can't be on the wheel. I'm sure i wouldn't be worth a HOOT ON EITHER.

No, I do not believe it is fair either. But rules are rules. For example, I know that Family Feud also imposes this rule that you have to be an American citizen to be on the show. I am not 100% sure, but I believe it is the same with Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. However, on Jeopardy, Canadians, and possibly people from other countries as well then, are allowed to go on and compete on the show. As with you saying you would not be good on either show, Wheel of Fortune can be hard, it does take skill to be good at that show. However, I do believe that almost anyone, no matter how smart you are, can randomly win on The Price is Right because it is a guessing game. But you shouldn't be so hard on yourself :)

I would prefer The Price is Right because at least if you make it on contestants row you win something and if you make it on stage there's a wide variety of games you have a choice of winning. I also like the fact that even if you don't win the game onstage you still have a chance to spin the wheel, especially in cases where there might have only been one or two onstage winners and a third person is needed. Then that gives you a chance at the showcase showdown. So to me the odds are better you just have to make it to contestants row.
