Misa de Gallo 2012

I recently attended the first dawn mass for this year's advent. I slept around 1am and forced myself to wake up around 4pm. I really felt drowsy while in the church but it somehow turned out well. My sacrifice was really paid off and I am planning to do this everyday until I complete the 9days of Dawn masses. How about you, did you go to the fist dawn mass?

My husband was the one who attended the Misa de Gallo... we can't go as a family since the kids are still too young to wake up very early in the morning... but hopefully a few years from now... we will all be able to go... it is a great sacrifice to wake up in the wee hours of the morning... and i admire you for doing that sacrifice...

So how old are your kids? Its indeed a small sacrifice that has a substantial meaning. Thank you for your appreciation.

Hi Kenshin... As far as worshiping god is concerned, I dont feel sleepy, as I am ardent devotee of god. I visit the temple every Tuesday and Thursday, @ 5 am, no matter how late i sleep at night.

We weren't able to attend the Simbang gabi this morning because we already went home at around 1AM. We went to places like Greenhills Shopping Center for the huge puppet show and night bazaar, Policarpio street in Mandaluyong for the houses with lots of xmas lights, and Meralco Center for the lights display. It was a very tiring but satisfying night. We were already exhausted when we got home and all we can think about is our beds. We woke up at almost 10AM in the morning.
