I went to my first wine tasting today. A friend of mine had heard about this wine store doing a wine tasting, and she asked if we wanted to go. My husband and I had never been to a wine tasting before. We've had wine, but never been to a wine tasting. It was very interesting as I got to try different wines from different areas and countries. Some were from California, some from Italy, some from Germany and Russia. I learned a lot about wine I'd never known before. I have always known that I like sweet wines better than dry, and white wines better than red. Though today I did try some red wines and they weren't that terrible. Some were more sour. My husband enjoyed it the most I think. He has the pallet for that type of stuff, he can pick up subtle flavors where I can't. Have you ever been to a wine tasting?
