the pitch of nagpur is very slow and the england's openers trying to waste more to more time of india. they are playing very slow and not give any chance to indian bowlers to take wickets......india try to win but i think its very difficult to win match on this worst pitch......whats your view will india make win to level series or england make history after 28 years..

At the present time it's quite difficult for India to win this fourth test match. In my opinion if India wants to win this test match they have to bowl out the visitors below 200 runs. But with the current pace with which England are playing now clearly shows that they want this test match to be drawn as they are having 2-1 lead in the series.

I too have the similar opinion. Both the batsmen Jonathan Trott and Ian Bell seem to be in good touch. And it will be so difficult for the Indian bowlers to restrict them below 200 or 220. Also Indian batsmen may not be able to fire the English bowlers on this kind of a track.

Hi Shashank, It is not good to predict anything in cricket because who does usually ends up being a fool. Right now England is 56 for loss of only 1 wicket and only 4 and a half session left it is very difficult for India to win from here unless some miracle happens. If England do not win it then it is going to be draw. But again predicting in cricket match is full of embarrassment.

result is on the cards. England is making a mistake by defending for a draw. A few wickets now and England will find it difficult to change gears.

I am afraid we are not going to win this match. The pitch is very slow and we do not have penetrative bowlers. So we are going to wait for the English batsmen to make mistakes to take the wickets. Also now England have a score that on this pitch looking at the scoring rates would require India to bat at least 2 and half sessions which gives India half a session to pick 7 wickets. I am afraid that is not going to happen!! Cheers! Ram

England is going to make history by winning the series...India were never in the competition...so doesn't matter what kind of pitch India is playing on...atleast they are in a position to draw the match and lose the series 1-2, rather than having a good pitch and loose the series 1-3...So what if India looses, the mighty Australians lost a series to SouthAfrica just a few days ago...so cheer up.

Day 4 closed at 163/3 so it will be difficult to get 7 players out and then chase the target. But, we can always hope for a miracle..maybe our spinners will be able to do the job for us...lets wait and see. But, I find it very strange, India have not been performing well after winning the World cup.

I don't think so,Dhoni taking very bad decisions and that putting India in deep troble. Most probably this test is going towards draw...

I fully agree with you that the pitch is not in favour of stroke making and England would want a draw so they can win the series after 28 years in India. The way England are playing it is clear they want a draw. If India was in their position, India would have done same because they have tried to do same with west Indies but lost the match in 1990s.

At the end of the fourth day England is 161 for 3. Jonathan Trott and Bell are on the crease. I think now it is quite difficult for India to win the match and level the series. Jonathan Trott batted really well by scoring 66 runs from 153 balls.

It is true that the pitch on Nagpur is very slow. Now England batsmen understood it therefore, they will play very slow and steady. today is the fourth day. So to win series they will try to draw this match instead of having any decision of match.
