Mylot and the art of saving

When I'm on mylot, I try not to think too much about the money, to be honest I just love posting here everyday. But I agree with you, mylot is like my savings account, every single penny I earn while I am posting here keeps on adding, and if I don't spend it, I can easily have over 100 dollars at the end of the year. Of course that depends on how active you are on the site. I also do some of the task around here.

That's an interesting idea. I hadn't thought of mylot that way myself, but yes, it is, for many, about a very small amount every day turning into a larger amount. I do feel, however, that I have learnt a lot of things from other mylot members, even if the value of frugality is not the lesson I feel I have learnt from the mylot earnings system. Its more taught me about managing time, and valuing it more, as its quite nice to earn a small sum of money when doing something enjoyable.

Hi else22, if visiting this site just for money purpose I don't think I would stay here for so many years since the first day I have become member I participate in activities I'm interested randomly and comfortably Yeah, how much penny we could earn depends on how much time and effort we could put in here. You are right. The few pennies we made daily will pile up to be the minimum amount we set. For long term it would be quite a big amount. Yeah, from this I learn that many a little makes a mickle. Lol...there are lots of fun to spend our leisure time here and earn money at the same time. Happy posting and keep on posting and piling up the cents made here

Yes Mylot makes us learn many thing in our life. As a child our parent had thought us how saving a single penny per day we can make big amount or cutting our expenses and saving some money will surely helps us when we are in need. Mylot is is not just the place to earn some money but I can say this is a place where we can learn lots of things in our life. I like the way you have compared Mylot to Saving. But other then this Mylot is a place i.e. it's like a school where we can learn a lot by gathering some new knowledge and sharing our knowledge with others.

it's only dec 17 so i hope you keep on participating until the clock at the bottom of the page says dec 31 23:59 pm so you'll receive $11 or even $12 by jan 15th. if you're busy, you can make mylot your homepage and use the search bar to earn rewards. it helps add to your earnings, too. like you, i have sites that i drop in on when i have time and i'm in the mood to "work" there, but i just think of the earnings as something "for the future." and sometimes, payout from those sites comes just when you need it.

You have raised a very good question and i think saving is important than spending.But if you go into deep,you can realize that you don't have to save for more earnings.You just have to spend your mind. Look,i am not giving less importance to saving.But if you think the situation like money-minded people,then you can say that it's far easy to learn instead of saving. Suppose,let us example of mylot. You can hardly get time for mylotting. But suppose you write in a manner like writing 3-4 para for each discussions and participate in other activities like doing tasks,search etc. and participate more in discussions(means,initiate new discussions,comment back to all of them and make responses etc),then you can understand easily you have to invest in your mind only.This is my way of thinking.Thanks for your nice post.

yes, i agree with you because it is a good site to make your cents grow into dollars but the site requires patience and some people can't be bothered because there is no quick return on your money.

yes, this is a good insight about our activities here in mylot. it is true thatw e earn a bit everyday. but once those small bits are accummulated, they pile up for 10 dollars. when that time comes, we are able to cash out and add that up to our savings. it may not be enough for anything, but we strive to earn more to add up to that bit.

Yes I agree, I just got a new (old ) house and am watching every dime and savings can add up quickly if you cut out a coffee here a sandwich out there. Any excess for me is going into savings out of my paycheck since I have fibro and a bad kneee and have to plan for my knee giing right now I am using my online earnings to save up for a new computer.out....

That is so true! It is similar to what I tell my kids. Everyday we give them an allowance each. And I told them that each of them should be able to have individual coin banks wherein they could put in whatever is left from their allowance during that day. If they save more, they would surely have more money by Christmas and they can buy whatever they want.

yes of course at first when i came here it was all confusion and slowly i started realizing the fact. when i participated here just for money i didn't earn too much and that's true . But slowing i started enjoying here started learning about people their point of views regrading certain things. The participation also increased my earnings increased but i didn't realize it until few days. This shows we should like and enjoy what ever we do. And yes few cents everyday helps us to make dollars we can learn a lot of things here.

You're right. One dollar comes from a single cent. It also teaches us the value of one cent and what hard work is. Before I joined mylot, I dont really care about the centavos that i have, but now, I learned that if you only earn cents per day, then a single cent has a great value.

Yes I agree with you and I myself have cashed out from Mylot two times. I come here just to relax a little bit by talking about something that interests me. I think you also do the same thing, I don't care if I reach the payout this month or not, but I realized that the time I contribute here bears some fruit. It really teaches us the lesson of saving. Small amount adding everyday can make a huge amount one day. Every journey starts with the one step, and if you keep stepping only then you can complete the whole. Mylot is a very good site.

Mylot really teaches us about the addition of each cents we earn on every day and finally giving us the payout. Such a way on earning really test our patience and plays an important role for the development of patience in our life. Along with it mylot teaches how pass time keep on going if we are free. It's a not bad idea.But in my mind.It's no matter for how much money i can earn.i think there is a lot of things we can learn and a lot of friend we can make.we also can discuss everything with people form around the world there.

My problem is that I have just joined so I have not seen how the earnings work but I must say that what attracted me here was what I read that postings earn money, unlike in other social networks. Is it automatic per posting or there are specific posts that earn the few cents? By and large, I agree with you that little amounts each time build into huge sums after a while.
