There are many things I enjoy in life. The main one for me is Martial Arts. I love learning how to defend myself - the dynamics and strength that you receive from the training don't just bring confidence and power but also an array of many interests.
Doing the research in martial arts, my favourite activity is looking into the lives of other masters that have lived centuries ago. It is evident that Tai Chi has been underestimated and/or misused by many. It IS a reliable martial art, and it prepares people for the toughest fights out there because it enhances your perception. With the enhanced perception, you can definitely increase your sensitivity. Thus, you will feel the distance form your opponent and his/her actions much better.
Secondly, The enjoyment of rolling and throwing is brought by both Aikido and Jiu Jitsu. I love the nobility of Aikido, as it makes the defensive approach both merciful and effective.
As far as the modern-day MMA goes, I believe it's a complete disgrace to martial arts, in general. I teach special needs kids, and I teach respect and mercy, the values opposite to UFC and all the modern-day MMA leagues.
