I think most probably it must be something to do with the batteries. I would suggest you to see a technician and fix the problem or try changing the batteries and see if the problem gets fixed.

so when it happens problem like that it can be that the system you use to charging your laptop is corrupted or your battery life totally out!!So considering that your laptop is pretty young just 1 year old i suspect that the system is the problem or even the port you use to plug in...anyway if you can change your battery with a new one and prblem persist you can be sure that is not the battery but he system and so substitute it and problably your charign problem will be solved!

As you mentioned the age of your computer, it gives an idea of what the problem could be or how it brought its head out so early. I really don't think a one-year old laptop should face this problem. I have been using my laptop for the last three years and I use it for at least 6 to 8 hours daily. I haven't found this problem yet. But as far as your problem is concerned, it could either be in the charging socket or the battery. You said that your laptop is one year old. So, I guess it is within the warranty period still. If it is, you can get the battery replaced after checking if the need arises. There could be the problem with the battery while other parts of the hardware could be functioning properly. But one thing is for sure, I don't think, there could be a problem in the indicator.

yes there you have pointed out something important and if that is how to know about it ,I think the repair people can fix it...interestingly I visited my local shop and the person who attended me said it is the charger which is causing the problem and I had to purchase a new one paying a good sum but I see that today even the problem is there though the indicator in the bar showing that plugged in and charging but the percentage is not increasing.

You know, we have a similar problem with our laptops. For me, it's giving me a warning about my batter getting defective or something. And, it can no longer stand for 3-4 hours as it used to be. The sad thing is, I just had this unit for 1 year. These laptops are supposed to work for at least 3 years, right. Have you tried contacting the place where you bought it? I haven't and I just take out the battery so I plug it in all the time. Im probably going to buy a new battery over the weekend.

Thanks for sharing.Yes I purchased this one just one year ago and its working perfect. Initially it was suggested that the charger is the problem and I changed it purchasing a new one but the problem is still there the indicator not showing charges done but it is showing that the plugged in and charging, interestingly the laptop is working when it is plugged in but when I stop the charger it is falling quite rapidly.I will visit the store again to check if I need a new battery or something else.

If your Laptop is not charging, or it does not shows up the icon that your system is charging when plugged, then most likely its power management and system may be corrupt. You need to uninstall and format your power management software with the use of a device manager. If you don’t know such, might as well go to your computer shop or where you purchased your laptop and ask for assistance about the issue, they will surely grant you repairs since it does cover up the warranty of the item. Another theory is that probably your power cord experiences short and burnouts… Inspect the ends of the wirings if there are some broken connections or loose spots that may be accidentally tore might as well buy a new power cord. Also, check if it smells like burnt plastic. It’s also best to ventilate your laptop; sometimes overheating laptop causes the rise of battery sensors resulting to burning. So in order to avoid such, I suggest you buy a cooling fan.

Most likely your problem is related to the battery. Turns out the battery is not working properly and did not give the laptop power supply when the charger is unplugged. If your laptop works fine when the adapter is installed but stopped working when the battery is removed or damaged laptop laptop battery is not charging properly. Make sure you have a power adapter for charging at least two hours before attempting to be revoked. Open and reattach batterei, maybe not exactly that position can not be filled Boot to the system BIOS, and see if there was something strange related to the battery. DO NOT change anything unless you know the original settings. If you find that normal BIOS, let the windows path some twenty minutes, and see if the charge percentage has not changed at all. If the percentage of filling up but the fact straight drop some time after the power adapter is removed, meaning batterei leaking. Use a third-party battery utility to diagnose the state of the battery. For example, BatteryCare is a free software utility that is able to do this. Please googling and doing tests. If you are still having the same problem even using the new battery, most likely there is a problem with the motherboard.

i had this problem. i am not tech, but it sounds like you need a new battery. i heard that your battery life gets lower the more you leave it on the charger. my tech told me to take it off the charger until it needs charging. otherwise, it will lower the life of your battery and it catch a charge anymore.

There are two possibilities. One, your battery could be damage already and two, your charger might be defective. It is very easy to check, just remove the battery and connect your power supply and turn on your laptop. If the laptop turns in, then your power supply is good and well. Then most likely it's your battery. Though it may be just a year, battery can wear out most especially that it is rechargeable.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i can understand your situation, and i think it is better for u to contact the shop from where u have got the laptop as i think the charger is having a two year warranty and if he detects any issues in it then u can avail repairing services free of cost. I am sure either they will replace the charger or else will they will repair your laptop if there is any issue with it. get it done as soon as possible. What say?
