Addiction to vicks vaporub

This may sound strange and funny, but i have a strong addiction to Vicks vaporub oinment, I am like , so addicted to it, that i keep the bottle with me 24 hrs... and specially during night, i inhale it..and that gives me a good sound sleep. Is this addiction harmful? As vicks is suitable for cough and cold... I dont have any one of it..still i need it desperately..... I dont like the inhaler much, as it is strong enough, but oinment is smooth and the best!!
Anyone like me addicted to this thing? (Or any other--(good thing))

Hi friend, really it is crazy, during my childhood days i too like vicks vaporub and inhaler and use the consume it frequently, but now i am free from this addiction

What is in the vaporub that makes you addicted with it? Well, obviously I am not addicted into smelling that thing but I know people who used to keep on smelling it and lick it too... It sounds gross but it is true. They are both still pretty well and okay up to now so I think there is no bad side effect but as far as I know it is for external use only. Well, couldn't give some idea about it. It is better to asks some health professionals.

The wonderful healing power of vicks vaporub, my mum always used to use it on me as a child and I remember the warming affect it had, and how it would easy my blocked nose and how it aided sleep. I don't think the addiction is harmful, after all the idea is to breath it in to clear the nasal cavities and it's a good remedy. Sometimes it will state on the label about usage.

hahaha GUILTY! I am guilty as charged. It is better than sleeping pills for me. so very refreshing.. sniff.. sniff... this is addiction. LOL

I have allergic rhinitis and I'm using vaporubs. I'm not addicted to it because I only use it when needed. I'm not sure if it's safe to use everyday even if you're not having cold or cough. I think it has ingredients that could cause addiction.
