Smoking make my father ill.

There are several reason why I don't like smoking because my father smoked it. It make he not healthy. He always loud coughed. I want him to quit smoking. I afraid he has disease about lung. I see my father friend don't smoking he healthy and never ill. How I make my father quit smoking.

You can try to talk to your father about any secondary complications due to smoking. There are some health conditions that you can tell him like lung cancer, bronchitis, active TB, emphysema, etc. If he knows the disadvantage of this he might live longer in this world.

Thanks Shavkat it is a good suggestion. I will ask him about this.Now my father try chewing gum instead of smokin?? I like this.

middle, I understand your concern. Here is a website that might help you http://earthclinic.com/CURES/quit_smoking.html But you must realize that a person has to want to quit before they can. If they don't really have a strong desire to quit it will be very difficult to get them to stop. And welcome to mylot!
