Do you believe that the end is coming? Any preppers here?

Do you believe end of the world will be this friday? I don't believe that world will end this friday or in near future, however bad things can happen and do happen daily. We won't just disappear in one day unless something big hits us. But there are wars breaking out or continuing for ages, natural disasters, people poison other people with bad food products etc. Being in a war zone comes pretty close to the end of the world for that area doesn't it. There's always a chance of something ging terribly wrong but on the other side it's not very likely and depends on many factors. As far as ww3 I think we learned our lessons and are still carefull enough that it won't happen in near future (really hope I'm wright). I watched this show on Natgeo called Doomsday preppers and have mixed feeling about it. People go to extremes preparing for disasters for example building huge underground shelters, buying tons of food that eventually goes bad, medical supplies, 20000 bullets per person and so on. It's so crazy I can't believe how much money they spend and train to pack everything and leave in 1 hour. But on the other side what would you do if society breaks down? Bet you wouldn't complain if you'd get all that food and be able to protect yourself. So is anyone here a prepper, even if you're not... what would you do when s**t hits the fan? In case earth would be wiped out I wouldn't really be that shocked. After all if you think about it... it's the end of the world for a lot of people every day. It would just be the end for all people at once. Have a great day wish something would happen so that people would change, morale is low these days.

I feel like this...there are people in my past that I
truly wish to see again, But not right now...LOL..
I believe it will happen when it happens and at that
point I will not know it anyway...
I would not waste an extra dime on preparing for any of
that...

your the first one that has made any sense. when or if "the end" comes no kind of preparing we do now will help for any that may or may not be "left behind"

I don't think that the world is going to end, but if it did, I have my nice pair of boots, all of my books, hot cocoa and tea, and I have anything that I might need if the world ends. I think I'm good.

Last night, I was waiting to see the end of the world, but until I got up this morning, nothing has happened. All things seem to run in their own way. I really want to see by my own eyes how is the end of the world. But the truth tells me that I am a normal person, special things will not happen to me during my life time.

I really don't want to believe with that and that is ridiculous. Because I believe there must be signs of end of the world that we are supposed to experience by now or before the December 21 if that is totally true. @kunu111185 (211)

I also do not believe that any such thing is going to happen on friday.Nasa already confirmed that world will not end on Dec 21.Of course, there are myriad theories about how the world will end,and NASA only adressed the most common,one of which is the thought that a planet called Nibiru,planet x or Eris is approching the earth and threatening the planet with widespread destruction.Neither Nibiru nor planet x exist ,according to NASA.The concept of Eris is true but the closest it could get to earth is 4 billion miles.For any claims of disaster or dramatic changes in 2012, where is the science ?

Of course not. And tell me how you can preper for worlds end. It just will happen one day, but not on friday. Almost every year someone tells that the end will come, but untill now nothing has happened. You just have to live like it was your last day.

Nowadays crime rate is increasing, people are not even safe in their own homes and they can't even drive to pick their kids from school without having to take extra precautions.
To me that already signify that our world has already end because our morals is getting lower. People can even turn and blind eye and even insult/blame the victims even though it's clear it's not their fault.
So why do we need the world to truly "end" when the society already corrupts to the point that it becomes end of humanity?
Although there's still hope for change but the damage is beyond repair I think.
Just to let you know, I Don't Believe That The End Is Coming.

Haha just as Putin said yesterday,the end of the world will come but it will be after 4.6 billion years.
As for how I prepare for it,actually I but a on-line ticket and I actually buy more for my relatives and friends,haha,they are free and interesting.

It will end one day sure but not for now. So relax and do what you do normally. Nothing is going to happen now and also in near future. I think after 21st Dec these Mayan archaelogists will announce new date for the end of world
