Can we imagine a life without cell phones? Can't even think of it. Cell phones have really made us dependent on them. I wonder how people used to live when there were no cell phone in the early days. I can't live without a cell phone even for one day. I use cell phone mostly for text messages rather then calls. Now each and every child almost carries a cell phone now a days but parents need to be careful that there child is using this facility in the appropriate manner. What ever it is cell phones have really made our lives easier. Is there any one in the world specially a teenager who does not use a cell phone. I dont think so.

Even the thought of me not having my cell phone makes me go nuts! I do all my banking, social network, pay bills, i don't talk on it much but I do text. It's hard to believe at one time people would just send letters to communicate

I can not imagine that from happening in near future. Even in the country where personal liberty and freedom is most retricted will not ban cell phone usage, the authoritarian regime or semi- authoritarin government will rather eavesdrop on your calls than banning it outrightly. It has become such an important device in a modern society.

Back when I was growing up in the Stone Age, we used two cans and a string! Huh?! OK, I see the confused look. Of course, I jest. We had actually progressed to the rotary dial phone. Yes, cells have made it easier. Now I don't have to have a separate answering machine when one calls to leave a message if I don't answer or feel like answering.

I know some people that are literally OBSESSED with their cell phone and I find it to be really annoying!! There are days when I don't have my phone at all and I survive just fine... The only reason I have a cell phone is for emergencies, other than that I don't need it. I "want" it just in case...I do have 3 children so I want my cell just in case something happens, I want to know right away. I don't see the obsession about them but that is just me I guess... Oh and by the way, I am not from the "early days". I just think it is something that people could live without if they had to.

well its nice to live without them but you need them sometimes urgently, other wise i will be happy with no mobiles as they have risk of diseases and car accidents too, so that is not bad news if they ban them or at least ban them in some places will be great

I even can not imagine what will happen to me without having a cell phone. For me cell phone is more important as I am staying very far (2000km) from my wife and this is the very important way of communation between us.Not for me alone entire world will stand still.I am not even able to imagine how the people were communicating when there were no cellphones.
