Discovery Channel annouces it will cancel gun advocate Ted Nugent's show. Nugent is well known member of NRA and a hunting enthusiaist. His show depicts the proper and safe way to use guns, for sport. He also is a firm believer in a citizen's right to defend themselves with guns. Now, my question is; will society, in particular, the MEDIA and Hollywood also demand that movies and video games depicitng the ILLEGAL use of guns to kill people, massive amounts of people in some cases, be pulled or banned? or is it only the proper and legal use of guns that bother them?

Is it legal vs. illegal use? Or is it more about money and power?

Ted's pretty rich, and it didn't keep his show on the air. And I think it is more a left vs. right thing. Ted is a conservative who is vocal about his conservative views. Hollywood for the most part is liberal, and holds progressive views. Remember how Clint was made fun of? His conservative message wasn't the issue talked about...it was full attack mode on him personally. To answer your question, I think it is about money and power.

Once again the logic just dazzles! Not! Not one bit will they censor hollywood or video games.. nor will these censor themselves. Heaven forbid such act with responsibility and accountability. They will keep churning out trash and explicit materials no matter how many studies are done showing their effect upon society.. Yes from the days of "leave it to beaver" and "andy mayberry" to what passes for entertainment today.. See how society is "progressing"! Makes me know for sure there is a dark genius entity influencing, and the goal is total decline and depravity, and of course no defense against tyranny when it grows to fruition. I do hope 'they' and not their children live with the "progress".
