I always felt that whenever I add something spicy to my food it always increase my appetite. That's why I was fond of curry. I like eating curry with my bread and rice.
It gives a little extra taste boost.
So how about you? What do you think of that?

hi TrinityDownpour
No it doesn't, in fact I lose appetite because I can't appreciate well the food if it's spicy. It seems the other flavors disappear if I tasted something spicy in my food. My husband is the one who's very fond of eating spicy foods, he is not satisfied without those spicy sauces and dips.

Then I guess I'm like your husband then. I'm really fond of spicy food. I like spicy sauces and dips. Eating something plain can be unappetizing to me unless it isn't something plain.

It does, but I don't know about it scientifically, it was just from my experience.

I've never considered this before. I eat a lot of spicy food. I'll have to pay attention next time!
