today is the shortest day of this year, have you notice it?

My husband just told me about that news. The doomsday was just a false alarm but today is the shortest day is true. December 21, 2012 is the winter soltice earth's northern hemisphere, according to the farmers old almanac. Sunset wil be 4:53pm. I just felt it now, its 4:40pm now and its so dark :P

I hate the short daylight hours in Winter. I'm just happy that the shortest day is behind us so that means the days will be getting longer and Spring is coming.

I don't have any info regarding this. This time especially December is a great time with Christmas and New Year approaching. All people in festive moon. Everything seems so special. But really it doesn't matter a lot whether the day is short or long.

I think the day was normal as all other days. The lenght of day I feel was normal. And we all know that doomsday proved to be a rumour.
