The kids helped me today without question...

I was happy today when the kids helped me to shovel the driveway. We got some big snow. I thought I would be out there making a snowman, it's so wet, heavy and packy. It was like slush in the driveway. We had to do this twice, once yesterday and once today. The kids helped me and didn't even complain. The trees have so much ice on them, I hope they don't break and hit the house. I know my back and arms will be sore tomorrow. How did you clear your driveway today?

We have had only one day of snow this month, December 5th, and it lasted all of one morning and then it was gone as quick as it had arrived. We have been having a lot of rain and it's causing a lot of flooding in some parts of our country, crippling the transport system. That is good the kids helped you, for them, it's one big adventure when the snow comes.

If we get any more snow, the kids will have a great big hill to slide down. Oh, how fun. I thought we should make a snowman sometime soon

It is a good feeling when kids help without being asked and without complaining. I guess they enjoyed being in the snow and realised that it was better to help mum than play in it. I hope that your exercise has not given you any aches and pains. It has rained here today and the weather is cold but no snow in the forecast. It looks very beautiful on the TV but I know it brings problems when it falls so deep and gets sludgy. Don't let it spoil a White Christmas, some of us can only dream of it.

It sure was nice of them to get out there and help. It was a very slushy snow and it was so heavy. I am not to sore today, but the backs of my arms do hurt. I love the look of snow, but when it starts to melt as it has today, it gets all muddy and even wetter. Then it's like this great big mud puddle, dirty and nasty looking. It's all white in the back yard though. I'll gladly ship this snow to you, I've had enough white Christmas's

Lucky us in MA we just got a lot of rain. They are saying maybe on Christmas day it will snow but that's ok I can wait! I hate snow and am happy that we're I live I don't have to worry about shoveling. We have Maint men that take care of that. Yup, your going to be sore tomorrow. I remember my snow shoveling days and am happy they are gone. Merry Christmas to you.

This was nice of them. It is sometimes a rarity that the children I know will help someone without being asked.

After 6 days of rain and cold, we finally have a not so bad day here. I was able to hang the cloths out on the line to dry. Hope you have some snow for xmas day. Take care there, my friend.

Hi! I hope you gained back your energy, if not then you need a rest I guess. I wanted to witness snow so badly but it is so sad to say that it's impossible. I never saw an actual snow since my country doesn't have this season. Your kids are thoughtful and they just did what is supposed to be. I never experienced cleaning a driveway in my life for the simple reason that I don't have one in my place! Haha Merry Christmas!

All rested up from a full nights sleep. Ready to go again today...oh wait, the storm ended yesterday. Thank goodness. You have no driveway? You must live in a condo or an apartment building. Nice to have others plow your drive ;)

We've no snow to clear here. It's great that your kids were so good about helping you with shoveling your driveway. It is a good thing when children are given the gift of being trusted with responsibility.
