Do you have a new year resolution?

I think mine is going to be taking care of myself. I would like to focus more on the things I like to do. I want to work on exercising regularly, eating healthy and taking time to pamper myself in small ways. I'm way behind on doing things for myself. So this year that will be my goal. My husband mentioned wanting to see a concert next summer. I'm going to let him save for that. I've got to focus on myself. I can't work on that resolution for him. If he doesn't save enough then we just won't go.

I just downloaded an e-book which talks about the Self realization, and it tells about the universal mind. There is a concept of auto suggestion and if it works then I am going to stick to it to have better results in my life. I think if one control their own mind then can control their own life for the betterment.

Glad to hear that you have a lot of goals set for yourself. That is a good thing. I hope that you will be able to find more ways to increase your income online. It can be hard to earn online. But i hope that you are able to find something that works really good for you.

Well, my only new year resolution is to have a good spirit, to have a peace of mind and to be healthy always. Another is to achieve my goal this 2013.

Those are good things to try to achieve. Being healthy and having peace of mind is very important. I too would like to do better as regards my health. I guess in a lot of ways peace of mind as well. There are so many things that are affect us in our personal lives and the suffering and pain that we see affecting others.

He he I learn the 'peace of mind' from the book that was given to me by my mom. The book was called 'examining conscience'. She told me to read those guidelines before I confess my sin to a priest. It was written in a small book about physical, mental and spiritual healthy and so, to have a 'peace of mind', we should have mental healthy to get rid of all negative thoughts. I learn it from that small book

It's good that you are working on focusing more on yourself. It would also be a good move to seek to connect more with your community. That, too, is something for yourself and your daughter. Those connections you build now may prove invaluable if and when your relationship fails.

I agree with you. It would be a great thing for me and my daughter to connect more with the community. To have friends and resources outside of our marriage. This way it will not feel like I'm the only person going through this/ or that I'm by myself.

No, I don't have any. The reason why I don't bother with them is because I think my life should be run the same way, and by that I mean... be good to myself everyday, eat healthy, exercise and nourish my brain with positive affirmations everyday. I always been positive and see the good in everything. I guess that's why I don't bother with having new year resolutions. Hopefully, your husband will save enough money to go the concert. As you said, is his resolution and if he really wanted to go, he could go.

Yeah it is definitely good to be good to ourselves everyday. I think that a lot of us get side tracked and start to let others crowd those things out. Which in turn leads us to making goals to improve ourselves again. I know for along time I have focused on just making others happy to my detriment. I have to come realize that by doing this it has hurt me as an individual and made me bitter towards others. I hope that my husband will save money for the concert as well. If he is able to save he will be so happy to go and he will enjoy it. But I have to let him do it because I have done so much for him and he has to start doing things for us, or me sometime.

umh, i have no special idea yet since i still have to focus on my study. After completing my study, i may go travel to somewhere in asia area for a while and then go back to work to earn money... it seems that my life is boring since i am single...i am thinking of looking for a soul mate..and get married if he is my right man...hihihi

That is good that you plan to travel after you complete your study. I'm sure that you will be in much need of a break. Going to college is a lot of work and involves a lot of focus and concentration. I hope that you will be able to meet someone that you can spend your life with. Don't write your life off as boring because things can happen so fast. Even those who get married, look back on their single life as a good time even though before they may have thought it was awful since they were single.

Hi,my dear myLot friend~ This is really a good enough topic to dicuss and share. A person who doesn't has the resolution will have no life goals and that will be a very terrible thing. From my point of view, the resolution can be sorted as dayly-resolution,weekly-resolution, monthly-one...yearly-one and lifelong-one... by making our own resolution, you can know what you should do and then your life will be very engaged or fulfilling. Hope all ur resolution come true.

Not something as special but just want to complete all the work that I have planned and see that will spend as per budget. Wants to go on tour as usual with my family members. You know what is my main resolution this year? I want to reduce my weight and to have well balanced diet.

I hope that you are able to get all the work done that you have planned as well. Do you and your family travel far for tours? I understand wanting to reduce weight. I'm working on that as well. I even went to the store today and bought some fruit to snack on.

I hope that your plans for this coming year work out well. It does help us to feel better when we know that our parents are healthy. Continue to have a good relationship with your friends and family.

I gave up on that a few years ago since it never works. Then I started with: me, me, me, me ..... nobody..., me, me, me, me, my kids, ...... nobody, me, me, me! But even that doesn't work since it's always about someone else. To be honest I am very tired about that too and my health is the prove of that as well. I need time for me badly (to sleep, to relax, to start painting again, etc).

I hope that you will be able to get back to doing the things that you enjoy. Painting seems like it would be nice but I can't paint for nothing. I'm not an artist person although I think it would be great if I was able to do things like that and actually have it look decent. We do need to get our rest and relax. I know that I'm doing awful in that regard. I hardly ever get a good nights sleep. I'm not sure when I will be able to get a good schedule of that going. But I know we are all encouraged to get a good night's rest.

Yeah some people don't have to make them. I haven't made one in awhile. I thought I should start again since I often overlook myself because I'm so busy doing things for everybody else. I'm excited about starting to focus a little more on myself.

I always set myself goals throughout the year, for myself 2013 is a big year. I have already set my goals for the year. I am furthering my education, looking into career options, and furthering myself in the workforce. I am going to buy a module home, and move out. I have already signed up for a couple career based courses that are free offered by the town, and called about some classes at the local college.

You will definitely have a big year in 2013. A lot that you have to work toward and look forward too. It is a good thing for us to further our education. It does help us in so many ways. That is great that you are able to take some free courses. Those are the best kind to take. I'm sure you will be excited as well to own your module home. It's nice when we have things that we can call our own.
