Hello friends!
I know some of you were able to do your Christmas shopping early. Others started to do their shopping as early as November. In as much as I wanted to make my Christmas shopping on early dates, yet my schedule won't let me do it. I had been so busy with my offline work and I was just able to take my vacation lately. So here I am, doing the Christmas shopping on the last minute. Well, I think I am not alone. I can still see a lot of people at the mall.
Well, its better late than never, he he. My feet are aching already and also my pocket.
Merry Christmas everyone!

I always try to get my shopping done well in advance so I don't have to be running around on Christmas Eve. I usually do most of my shopping online and give the grandkids money so that's easy. yes, I am done shopping and now have to concentrate on cooking and cleaning.

Hi friend!
During the past years, I tried my best to buy gifts a month before Christmas. So I can devote more time for my family during the long vacation. I am also trying to prepare different foods just to be prepared in case my relatives would come to our house. But this year is a different one because this was the busiest year that I have. This is the reason why I was not able to do my shopping earlier and now I am doing a last minute shopping.
Well anyway, I am still glad that I was given a time to do it and to be able to give something for my family and friends. I hope they will like what I prepared for them.
Thank you for sharing!

Hi Cobalt!
Although there is a traffic in our place, I'm sure it is not a heavy as you are experiencing in your place.. This is also the advantage of living in the rural area. We don't experience heavy traffic even during rush hours. So you are just watching from TV, maybe you are done with your shopping already?
Merry Christmas!

Fortunatly I don`t asociate Christmas with shopping although I did buy some things. I went last Friday to the market and to the supermarket and bought veggies, meat and a cake. I am in charge of the food for tonight`s diner at my daughter`s home. My eldest granddaughter will come after lunch to help me with the last minute preparations. My pocket is fine. I give out homemade presents and will not spend money I don`t have. For me, Christmas is about love. Presents can be just tokens.

That is great. If we have money, we really can go shopping at the mall. Well, we can't go shopping like we used to do from past. When my father retired and have this financial crisis, almost all of us stayed at home and we don't know of how we're going to celebrate christmas in this situation.

I've received a lot of blessings this year so I wanted to share these to my family. Although my schedule for the last months were just hectic and I cannot even find time to visit the mall, that is why I had to do the shopping lately. This is my third year in government service and I am happy that I was able to have this present job.
Well, I'm positive that your situation will be okay in the days to come. Be positive. I have a feeling that with this online earning opportunities that we were able to discover, time will come that we will all gain success from this and we will appreciate life even more.
Let us hope for the best on the year to come. Thank you for sharing!

Hi jricky!
Yes, this is the most awaited season in a year so there is no doubt that everyone is busy on these days. Personally, this is the only time that I could be with my relatives who are coming home from different places and we are having our Christmas party during this season.
I hope you have a great Christmas there in your place!

Last minute shopping is okay. There's a lot more stuff with discounts. The crowd is a little annoying though.

Hi bunnystarr!
Yes, there are discounted items but it seems that I cannot choose anymore because I am thinking that I might ran out of time so I just get the first thing that I thought would be appreciated by the person whom I am going to give the gift. And yes, the crowd is one of the things I want to avoid but it is understandable this time maybe we are on the same situation or others just do the Christmas shopping because their bonus has just arrived.
Thank you for sharing and Merry Christmas!

Two days only left and I think you have to rush now. Hope you will enjoy the shopping as well as Christmas Celebrations. I am looking forward a holiday on that day. Surely expecting some invite from friends who do celebrate Christmas.
Merry Christmas to you, enjoy and have a nice time.

The streets were full of cars yesterday, when I went for the ingredients for the Christmas diner. I suppose they were late shoppers as it was not the usual rush hour. I will finish my Christmas presents at home though as I mostly give out things to eat made by myself.

Wow! You're so sweet marguicha! I wish I could also taste those foods made by you. Well, going back to the shopping madness, yes the crowd made me feel dizzy. Nonetheless, I am okay already as I will be needing few more gifts and I am done.
Whatever happens, Christmas is still my favorite time in a year. Thank you for sharing!

Many have just started their shopping spree and it can be seen from crowded malls and midnight sales all along commercial areas.
Sometimes the rush sales give us much cheaper price since some of the business/trading wants to have their old stuff/stocks disposed before the end of the year.

It's a good thing also that in our place, there are already several establishments where we could go to buy items during this season. Unlike before, when we only have one mall and there are times that you cannot find items anymore because they were already out of stocks.
Maybe next year, I could try to make some online shopping too.

I think many people wait till the last minute. We had ours done because we had no more money to spend. My husband was laid off right before Christmas.

I tried to get some of mine done before Christmas and spread it out, so it didnt dent my pocket book. I am going to start Christmas shopping again in the new year. Save for some toys for the brats, and the bigger presents, then grab the small toys throughout the year.

I only buy gifts for my grown children and my husband. I don't buy gifts for my friends nor my extended family. I don't have any close relatives with small children. All of us grown ups in our family decided that it is a waste of money and time to just exchange gifts. We might as well save the money and buy what we want with our own money. It is just so much less stress.
I buy gifts for my grown children throughout the year. My husband and I are saving for a beach vacation next summer, that is our Christmas gifts to each other.
I do NOT like Christmas shopping in crowds nor when it gets hectic. So, I try to keep my Christmases simple and yet, enjoyable.
Christmas is about joy, happiness and peace.

Hi ZoeJoy!
In as much as i wanted to just stay at home during this season, I'm afraid I can't do it. My family and friends are expecting something from me. We don't have exchange gifts during this time. I would just b lucky to receive some gift also but that is on their own will.
As for me, every year my distant relative would be coming to my place to make Christmas visit so I have to be prepared. It's okay for me to spend something for this season as this is part of sharing some blessings which I've received during the year.
Thank you for sharing and merry Christmas!
