I know many people wish that they become kids again so they can experience childhood once again but that is certainly not possible. Childhood is only coming in your life once. When we were kids, we didn't had any stress, neither worries or tensions of exams and we also remain free of Sins. Ever y one looks after us ad almost all our wishes are full filled but as time moves on the life really changes. Many stress, difficulties gets involve in our life. That's why childhood has to be the happiest time of life. I wish i had a magic stick which on moving throws be back to my childhood days but unfortunately that's not possible.

Some childhoods are rough and abusive. If I could go back and relive my childhood, knowing what I know now,it would be so much better! My dad verbally abused me growing up. I was not alone. He verbally abused my 3 siblings and our mom. I am still trying to over come this at 50 and it stinks! My father thinks he did the best job possible to raise me and my sibings. It wasn't and the nutruing was not there either. My mom, most of the time, put my dad first to try and make him happy. It didn't always work. My dad was a farmer. It was hard work and when he stressed out the verbal abuse happened! I and the others were blamed when everything went wrong! If it was our fault or his! In the mean time I grew up naive and with low self-esteem! Along with weight problems! Which I still deal with today! If I could go back I would not let the abusive words hurt me and realize I would not have to eat to deal with my problesms! Before I go,I did have some good times growing up. I just there was so many more then there was!

I also experienced that till now from my mother and my aunt, verbally, physically and emotionally torture. It turns me to always put myself into trouble whenever I see someone who doing such thing to my sister my daughter to my friends and others. I became fearless because of that. It change me as person.Almost everyday is like a HEll to me and my sister.During my childhood. But I am still lucky that I still survived. because I believe in God in God i got that all strength. that's why i can control AND now i am start to move on and not leaving in my past anymore. And prayed to God all the anger in my heart everytime I discuss this just like now, totally be removed.

Yes, I agree with you. But the sadness thing is we did't learn it untill when we're grown.

for some yes. but for me now. I have plenty of painful experienced during my childhood and my sister too and that is not for certain event but almost everyday. Remembering my childhood reminds of pain i experienced it was the reason why i become unstable till now. It hurts most especially when your loved ones are the one who made your misery and after all that happen they will say they don't have any fault and it's till us. that is more painful and leads in my heart and anger SO even I am excel in class till in my youth I still suffer emotionally that lead me to drop some of my subject as a sort of revenge but of course i received consequences for that, finding a good and stable job, and it's only recently that I decided to move on.and never leave again with my past, and accept it and forget my life as a childhood but remember the lesson I learned from it. The things that I don't want my child to experience.

Yes that is true, we can only live on happy memories of our childhood but then again today more kids are exposed to nightmares and danger which make them wish that they were never born in this world. Life is so unpredictable that no one can tell when a child's life can just be destroyed in a split of a second

It is true childhood is the most happiest time of our life.As a child you don't have to worry about the scores you made at school, there's no working pressures,no family responsibilities, you just play with toys and other kids,no worries at all.How I wish I could be a child again.

I beg to differ! I wasn't a happy child. I had problems all over, was scared of people, scared of school, scared of the teacher. I pretended to be sick so I wouldn't have to go to school. But this changed as I matured! I began to be my own man. I got religion out of my life, I began to do my own thing, and life became fun. I've never been happier now that I'm a senior. Life has turned out just wonderful for me.

I agree with you, childhood is really the happiest moment in my life. It is because I have no worries on how to deal with my life. During that time, i only know how to study, play, eat and sleep, that's all. I can play whenever I want to. But now it is so different because I think that the whole world is my responsibility. If there is a chance to get back in my childhood, I will really grab that chance.

Just like you, I want to go back to my childhood too. It's the time when you don't have to worry about the food you eat, or the clothes you wear, or the house you'll stay in. All you need to do to get through a day is just wake up in the morning, go to school, play with friends, eat, sleep. That simple. But now that I'm not a child or a kid anymore, there are big responsibilities I have to do eac and every day of my life. You need to work so you can pay for your house rental, buy food and clothing, and many many more.

I definitely agree to this.Childhood is the happiest time in most of our lives. We were given less responsibilities plus we were tension free of the issues and surroundings. We can have free time and can enjoy things as they come.We were allowed to have friends without considering family status or other conditions. And allowed to enjoy our free time.It was easier to get excited over things as a child and would love the new experiences. In fact, i believe even if we grow up there is always a child living in us.For studies, well i was always tensed before any exams as i wanted to give my best in all the things.I too wish that we had a magic wand to reverse time and enjoy the childhood one more time. Thanks!

There is a quote that makes me giggle 'when we were kids we couldn't wait to be adults..boy what were we thinking?'I miss my childhood everything was simple and I had no worries. My day to day decisions were which one of my friends I would sit next to on the bus and what time my favorite cartoon came on.If I could do it all over again I definetly would.
