i don't have the ATM with me

My sister is asking where I have placed the ATM . It is the family atm. I told her I have put it away on the cabinet . She keeps asking that I have misplaced. I said no, I know I am very careful in placing things in place. If she can't find it , I said she may it put it elsewhere. After a long search , she found it in her own things. So I said that she should be more organized so that important things won't cause us worry because she thought others have loss it when it fact it is her fault again why it is missing. Anyway, this ATM is for family use for important things we need to buy at home.

Like one of our friends already said, important things such as this, should be kept in safe places. There is one toll-free number given along with the ATM cards. You can dial the number and register your ATM as lost. But then to get new ATM and pin they will debit your account. All this can be avoided simply by being more careful and by having a permanent safe place to keep your ATMs, important documents, bills, jewelry etc. If it's your family card then each person should keep it back to the place after using it. This is a habit, a kind of awareness that will grow over time, with constant practice.

If that's the family ATM, then that thing is important. You might want to consider getting an extension of the ATM account just so if the original card gets lost, you'll have a spare with you. One of the things I'm very careful of is my ATM card, which I always place in my wallet. I know I'll take good care of my wallet that's why I place there anything important that I can't afford losing.
