I feel really unlucky that i could not see Donoal Bradman bat but i have definitely seen his highlights of batting. He was a God of Cricket too. Having an average of almost 100 is no joke but i have definitely seen the other God of cricket, Sachin tendulkar bat. I can't say who was better. I don't think that we can compare these two Gods. Bradman played around 50 years back when cricket used to be different the laws used to be different if compared to today. Can you please tell me the answer of this most difficult question. I will give a little edge to Brdman because at that time the accessories of cricket the bat, the pads were not of that quality if compared to today and even there were no helmets. The great Hanif Muhammad says that Sachin was better than bradman. I am really confused. Are you?

Bradman played 80 Test matches to earn the average of 100.I agree that the accessories were less and so was the technology to understand the weakness of batsmen. And he only played one format. And against just 4 countires. But in modern era,you have three formats, plus the number of games played are also higher. And add to that you play cricket in all formats for over 23 years is no joke.100 centuries and you play against most nations during the time which adds more weightage to Sachin. And you play in different grounds and continue like run machine. The expectations of a billion fans. That double hundred in ODI was something that most never heard of,till Sachin scaled that mountain. He had earned more respects in cricket fraternity than any other cricketer. And then Sachin was Sachin.Very humble and gentleman even when he has scaled big mountains. That is something. From many aspects, Tendulkar is a class apart. Thanks!

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i think it would be unfair to compare these two legendary cricket players because both belonged to different eras of cricket. While Bradman was a class apart batsman at a time when no such technology was present, Sachin is a classic batsman in today's era who has given nightmares to all the bowlers he has faced so far. For me both were great players and we should respect the way they had played cricket with such grace and passion. What say?
