A friend of mine was really into fortune telling and stuffs like this, I remember today, suddenly about the incident when i had to accompany my friend to one fortune teller and as i was going through something myself, i can't help but seek a positive answer... I remembered now what was told to me.. and it could have been the experiences i had the past few weeks.
First, i was told that my career would be ok this year, and it was true that i got absorbed by the company and was offered full time regular job with benefits. then, i was told i would be able to buy something - something that i really wanted to have ever since. Now this came true because i really wanted to have a hard disk drive and i was able to buy one! and then i suddenly remember the another one that was told to me... i was told by the fortune teller that i would travel with someone (my bf). of course then i thought that is impossible.. or that maybe my ex and me would be together again... but the thing was.. i did travel with my bf(but it wasn't my ex) and i did travel with my new boyfriend!!
I wasn't really watching out or looking after, i totally forgot all about it, honestly until i remembered them now.. out of nowhere as i was trying to think of what topics to post!! oh my, i still do not want to believe in it, not a hundred percent of course... but i am to still live my life as it is... not relying on any fortune told, and so on.

When it comes to fortune we can't just assume they mean word for word. I don't know what kind of fortune telling method was used on you but they seem to be very specific.
January of 2012 my friends and I went to fortune teller who used tarot cards. I didn't remember most of it. There were a lot of positive things she said but there will be trials. So she told me some advice. To me, I didn't really have to believe the fortune because the advice she gave makes sense.
Even if we don't believe in fortune it won't hurt to prepare ourselves in case they might come true.
People are too close minded to think that fortune is all a sham. To me fortune doesn't have to prove itself nor does it need people to believe in it. What matters is it can change a person's perspective altogether and make that person more prepared for anything that might come his way.

hi Aja... the person used cards too, but they weren't tarot cards. She was just reading straight from the cards and you can even ask her questions and then draw cards for the answer. =) i know there might be some fortunes told that are accurate, but then some are just equally as general as i could have predicted them myself too. hehe ;)
I do not have anything against them, i do not intend to focus on them either... im just happy that i have 'em told and well i look forward to the good things and take precautions on thee warnings i was given.

I agree haha, there are some general fortunes they tell us that we could have easily thought and predicted them ourselves.
Anyway, tarot reading is fun for me, so yeah, it's more for entertainment and curiosity.

I think it depends on a person I guess if he or she has determination to do it and it depends on his or her free will because based on my experience, it didn't came true. One, my dream to become animator didn't came true, but the fortune teller told me it would came true. I don't know. Lots of things happen to me and I still don't believe in those stuff.

Nothing beats a person who is determined to be successful, that is so true. :D i guess someone can just used these predictions for the good, if one does believe and if one does not, i guess that is because we have all been brought up to believe in many different things, different perspectives, the truth of everything depends on each culture, traditions.

A fortune teller can tell you what will happen to you if you stay the way you are at the moment you visit that person. This doesn't mean you can change and with that change the future or... what is foresaid will happen but in an other way (sooner or later).
I visited one about 2 years ago, wrote down everything that was said. Can't say it all came trough. I wanted to visit her after the year was over (it was for 1 year) but she was not there. Still... what was foresaid did not come true. Might be I met the wrong person, or I changed (am not willing enough) or it will sooner or later.

Hi there wakeupkitty, its been a while since i have had mine told, about a year now. ;) it is quite an experience if you ask me... ;) but then i think it is really something we can expect to come true, i had mine written too and about half of them i waited in vain, or maybe i took it word for word and missed out the true meaning of what was told too me. hehe
