Nasty black ants are giving me the creeps

You can actually get rid of them using insecticides. That is what I used when see a whole army of them. I don't like seeing them as well. I get goosebumps!

I don't like the smell of insecticides. Also,my husband's nose is very sensitive,he doesn't like the smell of it,either. I bought chalk that rids of ants from the local hardware and it seems to be effective.Since I haven't seen critters since yesterday.

The chalk could be as effective without the smell of the insecticide. When I was a kid, I used to pour powder over them so that they would just run away!

I use ant bait, called Terro. It has liquid in it that kills them. I have lots of the critters, so I have had to use a lot of the ant baits. I have to keep all my food in air tight containers, so that the ants can't get to them. I don't like them either, as I constantly have to clean up after them. I have been battling them for awhile now, and I will continue using the ant bait, until they are gone. It seems like they are less than they were, so I know the bait is working, but still, I just don't like them, as they get into everything. Take care, and have a great day.
