After the initial wobble under the reign for Benitez, Chelsea has now record three consecutive games, the latest a 1-0 victory over Wigan. Coupled with Man City's defeat, the blues is not four points away and with a game in hand. While the Chelsea's supporters were anger by the sacking of Di Matteo and the subsequent appointment of Benitez, if the latter is able to continue picking up the results, the fans will be won over in no time.

it`s good situation slow but sure Rafael benitez had taken syhmpathy from fans of chelsea and management...and abramovic too.. but it`s too earlier that we can said that Rafa can gives chance for getting trophy of EPL for chelsea this season..it`s too earlier i think.. iam afraid that it`s not benitez short term planning..he knows that he needs time for getting a epl trophy, a something that he never get it when he still become Liverpool manager

Not only has he started to bring in the results, Benitez has also managed to get Torres to start scoring goals again. But like you said, it is still early days and knowing Guardiola is Abramovic's first choice, it will not be surprising to see the Russian wield his axe, regardless what Benitez did.

yeah, so what a pity for benitez when his work effort is useless if Abramovic get the deal from Guardiola
