How do I know that you are my FRIEND!

When I was young the person I thought was my best friend always use my name to get himself out of trouble. Borrow my stuff and never brings them back and in return never really wants to lend me anything and if he did only for a limited time. The relationship we had was a parasitic one until i cut ties with him. Have anyone had a friend like that? How do you Know That you are good friend?

If I have trouble,my real friends will come to help me to solve the problems, but the fake friends will do nothing, they are even happy when you feel upset.
