What are your thoughts of drunk driving?

I just read an article about how one of the Dallas Cowboys was killed in a drunk driving accident, the driver who was in the same car had an alcohol level of 0.189; the Texas legal limit is 0.08. The driver survived (it seems they often do). I don't understand why people continue to drink and drive. It is just crazy. It has lead to so many deaths. Fortunately no innocent person just driving down the road didn't get hurt.
It is very unwise to drink and drive, to get in the car with someone who has been drinking, and to not where a seat belt. Neither of these individuals had their seat belt on. I hope that people will be careful and call a cab this New Years Eve. It is just ridiculous to die because of something like that.

Drink and sleep it off With a stubborn drinker, I recommend punching or slapping to teh face to render them unconscious. it's bad enough that drunk drivers can bring misfortune to other usually,innocent people.

Yeah I agree with you. It is truly sad that these things happen to so many innocent people. I wish more people would really think carefully about their decision to drink and get behind the wheel. It is awful to hear so many stories of innocent ones who have been injured or killed because of drunk driving.

I believe it the worse thing that a driver should do. I am completely against it and I discourage drivers to do it and refuse to get in the car with someone who is drunk. Life is precious and therefore we should take good care of it.

I agree with you. It is so sad that so many innocent people are killed when people do this. Often times the drunk driver is the one who lives. I know that there will start to be stiffer penalties for these types of crimes. We need to all value life more and be mindful of our actions.

I think drunk driving is considered very bad. I do not see any positive remarks about driving while under the influence. When you drink and drive, you do not only put in danger yourself and your passengers, but you also risk the lives of people who are on the streets. People who are drunk should not be driving because you cannot just replace a person's life. Even if a person does not die from the incident, they might be seriously injured, which may affect the rest of their life.

I agree with you. Drunk driving is very bad. It often leads to innocent lives lost. People need to think more about their actions and how it can affect others for the rest of their lives. I think there needs to continue to be stiffer penalties for those crimes. It sad to the harmful affects drunk driving has had on people across the globe.
