I read all the Twilight books and watched the movies (except breaking dawn 2), I just finished the Fifty Shades of Grey books and enjoyed them all. Now I am stuck! How do I find out what books are popular now that everyone is reading or has read? I've had to dig through my books and came up with an old hardback book of Sybil. I've read it a lot of times too and it's starting to bore me because of course I know what happens and when. What are you reading right now? Is it interesting or like me it's just something you picked up from your own book collection?

A book I have read and actually enjoyed was if you like the Twilight books then I would say check out this series called Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. Those are some good books and I actually enjoyed reading them. I am actually reading it again for a second time and actually they are in the process of turning this book into a movie. I'm not sure of when it is coming out, but they are turning it into one. Also another vampire book that I have enjoyed reading and it is also a series was House of Night. I hadn't finished the series yet, I need to get the last 2 books, but so far from what I have read it is a good book as well.

Yesterday was check day so when I was ordering my usual litter and large cat food I looked through their books and found a bunch of The Vampire Diaries books. They didn't go by number like first book, second and so forth so I picked the one that was probably first. I can't wait to get it!

If you're into fantasy/adventure genre I suggest you read the A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin. There are 7 books in this series (the last two are still being written) starting with Game of Thrones. The book has been made as a TV series which has so far shown the first two books. I'm reading book 5 now (A Dance with Dragons) and really enjoying the plots and adventures. If you have read and liked J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings series, you'll surely enjoy this one too!

I'm not really into romance stories even though Twilight was one. I prefer biographies, authbiographies and reality reading.

Wow Twilight books - i read and re-read them quite a lot and the same with the Harry Potter series :) but right now i am reading 'Faces' by Martina Cole and its about the 'underbelly' of London. Its pretty violent for my liking but i am still reading it anyways....the hero Dannyboy is a real psycho!!

If I don't find something soon I will be forced to go back and read the Twilight serie for the umpteenth time! I'm going to check out Faces to see if I might like it. It sounds like something I would enjoy. Thanks for the idea.

The most recent thing that I was reading (until I had to get it back to the library) was Being Jewish by Ari L. Goldman. I now have it wishlisted and plan to buy it so that it is part of my personal library; I think that it is a good one to have on the shelves. I generally don't read things because they are popular. I read books that interest me. Like my boyfriend, I am fond of nonfiction. Unlike my boyfriend, I also read a bit of fiction--usually fairly light stuff such as romance novels by Jennifer Crusie or cozies by Rita Mae Brown (the Sneaky Pie Brown series used to be a lot of fun until it got too preachy and too confused ). Right now, I'm not in the middle of any book. I have a lot of stuff that I read online, and I have been doing a bit of reading as well. However, the next book that I pick up will also likely be on Judaism--perhaps something a bit more scholarly.
