Life of Pi

Went to see Hobbit in theater and there was a trailer for Life of Pi before the movie and it looked amazing. Really captured me. has anyone see the movie? I'll probably go see it next week. You can say whether you liked it or not but please don't spoil anything.

I can't talk with you about the movie, but, I can tell you that the picture you just uploaded, can talk for itself as a first impression. I saw the movie 14 hours ago (it was yesterday at the evening). If you look at the picture, you see a boy with a tiger on a lifeboat, they are in the middle of the ocean.
Being next to a tiger is petrifying enough, excluding being next to it in a small boat and in the middle of the ocean.
The tiger is a predator and you must avoid it all the time, stay awake a lot, maybe feed him if you can so it won't eat you... On the other hand, you can try to get in some understanding between you two. It is hard though.
It doesn't matter how they got to be on that small boat, it is the survival of them both that is the deal here.
If you have something to take care of, it can be dangerous to you if you don't do it right. On the other hand, if you do it right, you stay safe, it gets easier to keep going with it.
This picture is a metaphor for our life, I think. What do you think about the picture ?

I know it's not the best fun to live next to a tiger that can eat you every minute. You can barely sleep.
If you find a way how to get along with it and even get some food for you both, it's not a real friendship, but, you are not the main target for the tiger. It will maybe appreciate your being with him.
It can be almost like a bad marriage when one of the partners starts to hate the other.
Almost the same thing. You have to be careful with what you do, what you say and even with what you think. In the end, if you managed somehow to keep it all right, that's good for the kids and for the family. The best solution will probably be a divorce though.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well yes u are absolutely right, this movie is a marvel and it has received appreciation from all corners of the world. It is a critically acclaimed movie and it has beautifully depicted the journey of life. i thin it would be unfair to unveil the story of this movie and it would be better if u watch this movie in person and enjoy it.
