A wild cat talked to a Persian cat about me

You might be confused with the title of this discussion. How can a cat mention something about me to another cat? My nextdoor neighbor who just moved in has a persian cat. He often comes over to my house and sneaks in as if he entered his own home. He did not look afraid of me. So, when I came close to him, he seemed to welcome me. Three weeks later I saw him play around with a wild cat that often wander around in the yard of my house. When I tried to approach him, he ran away from me. It seemed to me that he was so afraid of me. Does this mean that the wild cat told the Persian cat that I hated cats? Honestly I am not friendly with the wild cat for the simple reason that the wild cat poo and pee almost every where in my yard. Every time the wild cat comes in, I throw things at him to send him away.

Wow, maybe it can be true in some extent, or it also may because that Persian cat has seen you throw things to wild cat so now both of them including the Persian cats afraid of you. They said cats never forget so if you once do something bad to them or to other cat, they may not forget and forgive for what you did, even if you did it just once. I have a cat as a pet but my younger brother throw him across the road to play after that he's not coming back for 2 days, he did come back but then he wouldn't go near my younger brother ever again even till now.

I think what happened to the Persian cat was that he was influenced by another cat, which is always scared of me. Hmm...I think there was communication between them.

Funny but could be true! Maybe the street cat doesn't want the persian cat to be friends with you at all because you were mean to the former! So I guess there'll be no more friendly greetings for you from the Persian cat.

In that case, I have to be nice to that cat every time I come across him. So far, I have thrown a stone at him every time he comes close to my house.

For a short while. Then it'll hear bad news about you and will start snobbing you. You don't like cats anyways, and you won't be buying one.

hi cats are more intelligent than we realize and they do communicate with each other. the wild cat told the Persian you are mean as you threw things at it so yes now the Persian will not like you either,. Who belongs to the wild cat do you have any idea as if they own it they sho uld be caring for i t?.If a wild cat came into my yard I would want to know who it belonged to as house cats really cannot fend for themselves without some help.I wo uld try to help it and feed it not throw things at it as its an animal and animals do pee and po o. Even us humans do that lol.The cat need someone to care for it.

that's very valuable information, Hatley. I am gonna be a kinder to street cats that roam about in my yards. I hopethat will make a change. No one owns the wild cats. The cats just walk about from house to house.

Yeah...cats are a bit different to other animals. It seems to me, they are closer to human beings. What I don't like about the cats roaming around my yard is that they poo whereever they want.

It could be that he was startled by you, and your body language may have scared him. I know my neighbours cats always use to roam my front yard, I would talk to them. But the few times I tried to approach them they took off running.

Cat live close to human beings. So do dogs. But cats seems to have "a feeling" toward people. What I don't understand was that the Persian cat was suddenly afraid of me, whereas my reaction to him was still the same as the first time I approached him.
