As a student, do you "like" to see typhoons come? A typhoon means great damage to every place and it may cause many people lost their house or relatives. But when a typhoon hits means no school that day. What do you think about it?

As a School student I liked maximum school days, since I was happy with my friends at there. During holidays I had to miss their company. As a college student too I wanted maximum working days. It was not to attend class but to go to city and enjoy with friends missing class.

Right! I love school so much! Many friends, many interesting things, and without parents noise. It is always boring to stay home because of typhoon.

When I was 7-12 years old was in my elementary years,I really loved it when there is a storm coming because it means there will be no class! I will stay at home and play with my younger sister when she was still alive then read stories. When I grew up, I realized that it's not really easy for adults when storms are coming. It will stressed you out and it's scary really. There would be black outs, thunderstorm and heavy rain whoah! While little kids were very innocent as if nothing happened.

Yeah~ Thoughts may change with our age. When we get older, we can see the deeper side of everything.

When I was at school, any excuse to get the day of school would be most welcoming, I hated school, but in my country we don't get typhoons, we don't get that many hurricanes, the last real hurricane we had was 1987. We mostly get flooding, we have had a lot of rivers burst their banks especially in some parts of the country. I loved the 'no school' days trouble is there weren't many of them!

At my school and the schools around my area, we don't need to go to school if it's snowing too heavily. I'm not near the coast so there isn't any typhoons but it's the same thing. I used to look forward to not having to go to school when I was in high school but in university, I worry about my grades and worry about missing material so I'm not as excited about not having to go to school.

When I was a kid, I was so happy if ever there was typhoons because we don't have classes. But as time goes on, we already know that it is not something to rejoice because of the destruction that it brought to mankind. And I think most of the kids today are already aware of it and are not happy anymore of not having classes.

When we were kids a holiday meant no school ,weather it was because of heavy rains or somebody,s demise or whatever it did not matter to us ,we were happy to enjoy our holiday .Now as adults we realise the damage done by typhoons and tsunami.s.

when you are a little kid you are ok with preety much anything that cancels school. when you get older you realise that noting is worth canceling a school day -the oppesite, you dont like school beening canceled.

I would be lying if I said I don't feel happy if there'd be a legit reason not to go to school. But after moments of thinking, I usually end up getting worried. No classes, would also mean teacher hurrying the lesson since a lot of time was lost and the examination only draw closer. Hurried lessons, means less time to absorb anything and absorption of lessons is critical...especially when in college!

When I was young,I think I would like that, because it means we have no class those days. But now,I know how big of a disaster it is for many people and I hope that things will not happen.
