Of course we slept the night before. At new year's eve we stayed awake till 1 am. Mainly also to keep an eye on our animals, the trash can's etc. We woke up a bit later as usually (easy does it) had a relaxing breakfast/time. Later on we went to have a look at the schools who seemed to burned down (friend called if I knew it was true). We cleaned up a bit (good start of the new year) and soon we will have dinner. Untill now it was a relaxing day.

Of course I will sleep tomorrow night. Actually I have no more big feelings to the New Year. I am not that young any more who will celebrate and countdown for the New Year Eve. I am glad that we have a day off. But it is just like another ordinary day.

I always wait for the New Year. I will go to my closest`s friend home and we will eat there waiting for New Year. Our custom is that as New Year starts, we embrace each other and we wish each other a happy New Year. After that, champagne bottles are brought up and we toast for the New Year with champagne. We will see the bifggest fireworks on TV because they are not in our city.

I don't know that I will sleep tomorrow night! My husbands band is playing at a local bar and I will be out dancing the night away to his bass playing! Then we will be having an after party. I am not usually one to go out on New Years because there are so many police and drunk drivers but this year I have big plans to be away from my house :) What do you have for plans for the night?

I will not be sleeping at all. I will be in church when the clock strikes 12, then afterwards I will be getting my party on (excuse the corny line). If it were up to my I would be home at least watching the ball drop because I have never seen before. I like to wait up till midnight and party, God forbid something happens to me at least I spent my last night parting.

Obviously, i will sleep as usual because for me the new year is nothing special or extraordinary. it is also the same year as of this year. there are no months or years in reality, it has only been created by the human beings in order to keep a track of our lifetime and of our activities. Happy new year 2013.......

I usually stay in for NYE and am in bed by midnight. If U do fall asleep before the moment, I am usually woken up by neighbors banging pots or fireworks. Luckily it doesn't last too long and I fi back to sleep.
