Any Good News for 2012?

The year-in-review coverage on TV is so depressing this year. Shootings, politics, ambushes, storm damage, etc. I challenge everyone to post some GOOD NEWS. What was something GOOD about your year? I guess for me it was good news that I did not have cancer when they took out the huge tumor. (PS I asked the admin. to delete the other discussion like this that I just made too, cause of the wrong date in the title so you might want to just answer this discussion and not the one that says 1021, ha! Darn typos!

wasnt so good for me, It has to be a better year in 2013. I was sick, my son went to usa to live with his dad. Business slowed down here. Mexico got a crooked new President here. So Im sure 2013 will be better. Lets hope it is for all mylot members..

I'm so sorry you were sick, I did find out I had a lot of medical problems in this year as well. I still have some of them. I bet your son is deeply missed, why did they move to the USA? Business for me slowed down quite alot too but it did get omewhat better again around Christmas.

Well I came once again into dancing this year. I met people with dancing talent and now I am into dancing very seriously. If this was not in 2012, then I couldn't expect it to happen again. I got my lesson in relationship and calmness. i am now more practical and not ideal in many matters.

Ohhh I not remember any good news of 2012 because most of news about murder, fighting of politicians, worse activity. May be some celebrity married and this may be good news.

I turned 31. Not much else happened, thank Spaghetti ... oh, the world ended a little-over a week ago. Therefore--as I'm now in a world that still exists--2012 must not have happened!

I had a pretty decent year. I went to my 50th high school reunion and had a very good time. I live in Austin, Texas and our economy was really good in 2012. Our unemployment is only about 5 percent. I work in market research and my company did ok. However, I do not know what to expect with this fiscal cliff looming.
I know many other people who did not have a good year. There were a lot of untimely deaths among people I know or know of. There were many severe natural disasters and yes, the shootings. I wonder what 2013 is going to bring. If we go over the fiscal cliff, it is not a very good start.
I plan to eat some good luck foods for New Years eve and New Years day.

First of all,I want to congratulation for your good health,and wish all mylotters will be healthy in 2013.
As for me,actually I do not get much good thing in 2012,so the good news for me is I still on the road to the success.
