I couldn't reach the bananas today...

It's not easy being short! Today after I finished shopping at Glen's Market, I had to go to Save A Lot and get the items that I wanted that were on sale there. I still had bananas on my list and I wanted some green bananas at the top of the display. I couldn't reach them.
Fortunately enough, there was a tall man behind me and I asked him if he could do me a favor and get those green bananas for me. He was more than happy to help and said he would do anything for me. How sweet! I got my bananas and went on my way. Thoughts?

I like the greener bananas also and in addition I try to get smaller ones since most are so large. While I am not tall, I have long arms for my height so I can usually manage to reach the bananas at the top of the display even though sometimes it is not easy. There are a few of us guys around who are still gentleman. I often volunteer to reach things for people if it looks like they are having problems reaching them.

Well, I don't necessarily like the green ones, it's just that yesterday all the bananas that were at the bottom were to ripe. I wanted them for us to eat. If I bought the ripe ones they would be ready for banana bread today! I wish they would lower that display for us shorter people. I can't imagine, my Mom is only 5ft and she would have had a hard time reaching those bananas too. I am glad that man was behind me, so I could ask him to get them for me.

That's great for you! You've found the nice man too, he was happy to help you anyway. Bananas are great, it's delicious and packed with vitamins and minerals. I'm tall for someone in my country, but if it's compared to westerner I think I am pretty short, LOL.

Well, no doubt you've found a true gentleman that you took the bananas that were too high for you.
The speech that he did anything for you, I believe that to mean a kind of compliment. Without a doubt I believe that it did not have another end.
However, it is nice to think that today there are still people so kind, even strangers who can always help you in times of trouble. Even in the most mundane things.

Haha,I like that man's sentence"I will do anything for you".
And why this market arrange the banana so high?Because in my mind all the market and try their best to make their customers feel convenience.

I wasn't happy I couldn't reach the better bananas. The ones on the bottom and I could reach were getting pretty ripe and should have been wrapped in red tape. We like to eat the bananas instead of making banana bread all the time, which is what I am going to do today.
Hahaha, yeah he made my day when he said he would do anything for me!

I bought my bananas at Save A Lot and not Glen's where I got my Oranges. I should have bought them at Glen's, as they were much better looking. I don't necessarily like to buy them green but the ones they had that were ripe were a little to ripe. I like a few black spots but I don't want the banana to be ready for the freezer when I get it home.

i'm tall and always willing to help in such cases. but sometimes even when it's out of reach, i'm too lazy to find a stool to step on. so i stand on tiptoe and keep trying to reach something and they'd end up hitting me on the head or face! 
bumping or getting hit on the head, shoulder, hips and knees while squeezing in low and tight places is one of the downsides of being tall. i also try to avoid blocking other people's view.

That is why I like being tall because I can reach everything myself. My mother asks me to reach this and that all the time.

I love being a tall person. I can reach everything and if someone needs my help to reach something higher than the person, I will be kindly help the person. Being tall is an opportunity to help others. By the way, talking about banana, I remember there was a time preparing for a new year that I was making banana sauce.
