jack o lantern mushroom

As usual the kids had QUBO on and one of the shows they mentioned the jack o lantern mushroom. As they were trying to figure out why there was glowing in the woods. I guess this poisonous mushroom's gills actually glow. I thought that was kinda neat as I didn't know of much else other than a fire fly to glow naturally. Oh wow, those are really neat mushrooms, but I have to admit that this is the first time that I've heard of these kinds of mushrooms. Now I know that lightening bugs (fireflies) do have the appearance of glowing and they are the only thing that I've ever had the opportunity of seeing in my life, but I also know that there is a large variety of sea life that has biolumenescent characteristics as well. That is another thing that I would love to see in my life.
