How was 2012 for you? Are you glad to see it end?

How was 2012 for you? This past year, we started off in a new area of the country. Over this year, our son has become more child-like and losing a lot of the baby characteristics. Being able to comprehend more and interact with his surroundings has been amazing to witness and be apart of. Time does seem to fly, and I now understand "they grow up so fast". We went to several different beaches this year. Earlier in the year, we went to San Diego and visited the Zoo, Sea World and the beaches there. We saw Endeavor land and were able to touch parts of it at the California Science Center. We went to more museums, libraries and parks then we had in years. In the fall, we went to Disneyland and California Adventure. There have been many times this year that were bad. This year, my grandmother passed on, and since we had been around different parts of the country for several months, it had been awhile since I had seen her. Another family member on my husbands side did as well a couple of months ago. We were recently once again relocated, after less than a year living in an area we had quickly grown to really like. We are not too fond of the house we settled on in the end. Smaller, older and less functional and we are paying more for it. We are hoping 2013 will bring new opportunities... and hopefully relocation to another place we will be happy to call home. How was 2012 for you? Are you optimistic about the new year?
