Most of us had tons of leftovers today. Some just easily throw it for it doesn't taste good anymore. Moreover, they forget to keep it and stored in the refrigerator to avoid spoilage. In my case I made sure before I slept the other night to place in the storage can some of the foods left. Early this morning I try to cooked it again or use some of it in making other recipe. How about your leftovers?

I don't have a refrigerator in this apartment building that i'm leasing. I don't cook, I eat out most of the time or bring home some food that's enough just for me. When I was back home, we usually keep leftovers in the refrigerator, our helper would then do some food recycling to it. We don't usually throw away food. We avoid throwing away blessings.

Good that even if you don't usually eat at home, you still bother to keep your leftovers.I also admire your helper that she git a talent on how to recycle some leftovers to avoid turning it into a waste.

We had ham and some left over mashed potatoes. The roomies can eat the ham and I've had some of the mashed spuds. We generally are good about putting leftovers away, but somethings get away from us...

Good to hear that you never waste any foods for there are still many children crave for those foods. We are just lucky enough to have plenty of it!

Hi Daisy_22, if there are leftovers available after the feast I will collect them in a big sauce pen. I will get them boiled straight away. Fresh mustard leaves and required amount of tamarind and sugar and salt will added to it to boil on slow heat. It tastes really yummy I usually will them with friends who love this sending to them the following morning Happy New Year

For left-overs I give them all to the the helper. Some also go to my pets. They love left-overs provided they are not yet spoiled.

I freeze my leftovers. I my husband makes too many pancakes for breakfast, I just freeze the leftovers. It really saves time to be able to just microwave pancakes the next time we want pancakes. Often I made a double batch of a meal and freeze the extra. It really saves a lot of time. I really enjoy turkey sandwiches with the leftover turkey. Often I look forward to those turkey sandwiches the next day or two after Christmas. Leftovers are great. This year, my husband and I made turkey soup from the leftover turkey. It is great on these cold winter days.

I dont waste food unnecessarily. how much i can eat, i only take that much amount of food so there are very less leftovers remain in my plate. wasting food is not good at all because nowadays foods are becoming very expensive and we had to work hard in order to buy it.
