Today since it's new year the malls and mostly all establishments are closed in my place. I went to the city proper and saw this sight. The street being very lonely and lifeless. It's a very rare sight specially in the heart of the city. I felt like the cast of a zombie movie.
How about you guys how does your streets look like on a new year morning? Happy new year by the way.

Yeah "ghost town" seems to be the right word to describe it. It's lonelier in new year than in Christmas based on my observation. I was thinking that it would be busy as people wants to start the year earning much.

Well I sure was energized during the first day of the year. I was kinda into the ney perspective thing. I was too glad to have another year to live that I didn't care much for sleep.

That day I went out,and came back home around 1130? The taxi driver was in a hurry to reach my place because he has to Bring the taxi to the garage. I asked him why, he told me that if she will take the taxi with him he has to pay for the boundary again the next day which is Jan 1. I told him why not...it is going to be busy day the next day. He said, nope, it was true that people are tired partying the night

Not here in mexico.. Its 648 am and there have been people on the streets all night here. I know, I had my cafe open all night. I walked outside for some fresh air. There is trash all over the street here. Hope they clean it up, looks bad. How was your new years there? Take care, see you here soon.....

Hi
Though its new year all shops are opened here, but mostly the roads are not very busy as we see everyday less number of people are found than normal days. This may be because all the schools and offices are closed . But i dont know why shops are opened may be they want to earn some extra money on the first of the year .

Well I was hoping the shops would be opened as it seems to be a good way to start the year earning but here it's not the case. So I am quite surprised by what I saw. It was very lonely at the heart of the city. It is very rare.
