Right int he Spotlight of Love

So.. it's a new year.. I've set no new year resolutions only other than to Live, Love and Love Life. It has started out so far so good. I can't help but to think about my upcoming 1 year anniversary with the guy that I'm with now. We met and started dating last March 16th and I can't believe that it has almost been a year already. We've been through many ups and downs and we're still in the passionate stages of getting to know each other. We have been living together for quite some time now and it has been great, he's everything I ever wanted. I really hope to keep this relationship going strong for many years to come. I have a 4 year old daughter who lives him, our families get along, and we compromise on things we don't agree on. We work together to make the best of our relationship. We cook for each other, we clean after each other and we take care of each other. I never thought I'd fall so in love with anyone ever again in my life. I thank God for blessing me with someone just for me. Do any of you guys feel this way about someone? The feeling of being in love is so wonderful, it's almost like a natural high.

Those are good resolutions because they are one's that shouldn't necessarily "fail". That is why I don't like resolutions. Although with these you've choses i think they're good choices. We don't always love but we can love more through out our lives with effort.

Yea, you're right. I figured they were fool-proof enough. It seems when I make detailed plans, they never turn out exactly as expected so this year I am just going to wing it!

One of my teachers used to say, that if you expect the very least from everything, anything you get will feel really good...
In a way I can see that's true but it seems a drawl way to live all of the time. I do use that on occasion so I don't get my hopes up though!

I haven't mastered it either. I always hope for the best and if it isn't the best it will hurt me of course at times. Though life without hope, doesn't seem like much of a life does it.

I really hope he is, too. We have our ups and downs like any other relationship, disagreements and such, but so far we have been able to make it through. I hope we continue to grow with each level of understanding within our communication.

I apologize for the delay in my response as I am very busy, but I do agree with you. Life isn't perfect and no one is perfect. A lot of imperfections and flaws in things suck, though and can definitely be lived without!

You just need to realize that eventhough life may not be that perfect, you can always be happy with the imperfections that life bring us. It is just the matter of meeting of the minds and hearts.

I really like the resolutions that you've made for yourself this year and I really do feel like they are something that each and every one of us should strive for in our lives during this year. I know that there are times that I don't really feel like I'm living my life and I am certain that there are times that I'm not able to love my life as there are so many things about my life that I never would have imagined to have happen in my life.

With each passing year, I tend to grow stronger and wiser even if not by choice. The trials, tribulations and decisions I have made have brought me this far, but I know to continue on a successful path, I will have to make better decisions and choices in the future.
