uploading profile pictures

as a user of the cyberspace, i really used my real identity in my accounts. I also uploaded my real pictures. but somehow, i am unsure of doing so, for still I am afraid that someone will use it to pose me. Even though, its their conscience that will haunt them and also I will sue them. But still, it is the individual concerns and full liability to be watchful and be alarm in sharing some of their personal informations in networking sites, right? :)

yeah it is sure that someone will use our photos. There are many people who need photos for their fake profile, which is used for illegal purposes. For that they did not use their photos instead use others.

You can sue them if you find out about it. And pictures can be downloaded and used in print publications. Your face, someone else's body. Once you use the internet for anything you can be traced. Any information on the internet can be bought and used. Identity theft is a big business.

We are all in such danger - of identity theft especially that we are always uploading our photos and even have quite a number of them, someone is always on the hunt for these and for sure, if one intends to do harm and fool others, they will just get it from anyone and it would be easy, right? a lot of people nowadays would have a lot of liking to posting their every move, and activities.

I still afraid to upload my real picture as my profile picture in any social site. I just show my real picture to someone i can trust. I dont want someone using my picture and say that is them. I also not give full information about me or hide some of my information.
