This year I wanted to make it a habit to drink tea as it is known to help in eliminating the toxins from the body. I wanted to ask you guys what tea you think is healthy. Also, I have drank green tea before and it tasted horrible for me. Anyway you can make tea delicious? PS. I cannot drink milk tea. I am allergic to milk.

Here's a good discussion on tea www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2731911.aspx and here is a site with really good information on tea www.kensavage.com/archives/healthiest-tea-green-black/ The first link is a discussion where the author gives tips on making green tea more palatable. I also don't like green tea. To me it has very little flavor, unless it is a chai type of tea. I like a strong cup of Irish or Russian black tea, but I use milk in it. I think there are many things you can put in tea to make it tastier for you. There are also tea recipes here http://allrecipes.com/recipes/drinks/tea/ I hope you find some of this helpful. I don't care for much in the way of tea except plain, with milk or iced tea with lemon. Lemon juice is very good for you and can be put in all different sorts of tea. I think that anything you can put in green tea would also go well in any kind of tea.

Wow thanks a lot! I will try my best to drink green tea more this year. We have a local fruit here in the Philippines which is sorta similar to lime. Do you think that could work instead of lemons? Lemons are not local fruits here.

I think black tea is just about as good as green tea healthwise. I thought I read that someplace but I can't remember. You could probably use your local fruit. Who knows? You might start something new. Or could you buy lemon juice in a store maybe? I think you could put a lot of different things in it because I see so many different flavor teas in the stores. It seems like they put everything in tea. Here's a good tea site www.republicoftea.com Just to look at their teas is fun. When I was young there were hardly any different kinds of tea. Now there must be over a hundred!
