SMART Failure Predicted on Hard Disk 3- HITACHI.... Back up your files immediately and replace your hard drive. This is the message when I'm opening my netbook... I really need the best possible solution on how to fix this. I'm concerned with my files in drive C and D. How can I save back-up if the computer was unable to start or can I still recover my files in drive C and D even if I'm going to change the bad hard drive? Hope you can help me... Thank you very much!

Smart Error usually appears if your Hard Drive is about to fail. If you can not process a back up, you can contact an authorized service center of your manufacturer. They might be able to mirror your hard drive. But normally there is an additional cost as this is not covered by the warranty.

I just can't help to answer in this post of yours. I too have Lenovo S10-3! I haven't encounterd that problem yet but what I can say is that good thing that your netbook reminds you about it. I am sorry I don't know what to say to help you. I wish I know. But I suggest that you copy your files now and get your netbook repaired before it will got bigger trouble.
