Bush Sr. was not reelected due to his breaking his promise not to raise taxes, (when he did it was for a $1 for ever $2 spending CUT) yet Obama just raised taxes $41 for every $1 in spending cuts? Not to mention there are entire websites all over the net cataloging his LIES and unfulfilled promises. http://www.audacityofhypocrisy.com/fashion-shows/ I am told that Governor Romney’s new running mate, Paul Ryan, might be around Iowa the next few days,” he said while in Council Bluffs, Iowa. “He is one of the leaders of Congress standing in the way. So if you happen to see Congressman Ryan, tell him how important this farm bill is to Iowa and our rural communities.” House passed bill on August 2, 2012 (Paul Ryan voted yes) I clicked over to PolitiFact and took a look at the Obama File they keep where they have three pages of statements made by Barack Obama that were rated false statements. Obama- If the Supreme Court throws out the federal health care law, it “would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False (PolitiFact- Slim majority, not unprecedented) Obama- “For the first time since 1990, American manufacturers are creating new jobs.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False Obama- “Preventive care … saves money, for families, for businesses, for government, for everybody.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False (PolitiFact- Wrong in 2009, and wrong today) Obama- “Thirty million Americans, including a lot of people in Florida, are going to be able to get healthcare next year because of that law.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False Obama- “I made a bunch of these promises during the campaign. … We’ve got about 60 percent done in three years.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False (PolitiFact- “In the Works” does not equal “done”) Obama Admin.- Under President Barack Obama, the United States has “doubled our exports.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False Obama Admin.- The president’s proposed budget “will help reduce the deficit by $400 billion over the next decade to the lowest level since Dwight Eisenhower was president.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False (PolitiFact-A mangled reference to a prior talking point) Obama- Under the White House’s budget proposal, “we will not be adding more to the national debt” by the middle of the decade. Truth-O-Meter rating: False (PolitiFact-Revenue would equal outlays, but he ignores growing interest on the debt) Obama- Twelve judges have thrown out legal challenges to the health care law because they rejected “the notion that the health care law was unconstitutional.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False (PolitiFact-Score two to two on judges’ decisions on constitionality) Obama- “I didn’t raise taxes once.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False (PolitiFact-We’ve tracked a few increases) Obama- When President Franklin D. Roosevelt started Social Security, “it only affected widows and orphans,” and when Medicare began, “it was a small program.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False (PolitiFact-A grain of truth in the big picture, far off on the details) Obama- The Bush administration had been “giving (auto companies) billions of dollars and just asking nothing in return.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False Obama- “The vast majority of the money I got was from small donors all across the country.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False (PolitiFact-Big donors bankrolled much of Obama’s campaign) Obama- “We’ve excluded lobbyists from policymaking jobs.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False (PolitiFact-We found at least four) Obama- When Obama was interviewed by American reporters in Asia, “Not one of them asked me about Asia. Not one of them asked me about the economy.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False (PolitiFact-More than one did) Obama- Insurers delayed an Illinois man’s treatment, “and he died because of it.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False (Insurer’s decision was reversed and man lived three more years) Obama- Health reform will “give every American the same opportunity” to buy health insurance the way members of Congress do. Truth-O-Meter rating: False Obama- Preventive care “saves money.” Truth-O-Meter rating: False (PolitiFact-Covering preventive care for everyone is a net cost) Obama- (No earmarks in spending bill) Truth-O-Meter rating: False That was only from page one of Obama’s false statement PolitiFact files. Here's some VOCAL lies you can listen to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kg9m1F8B2_c SO WHAT IS IT; LIBERALS OK WITH OBAMA LIES? OR is MEDIA NOT REPORTING ON LIES, SO LIBERALS AREN'T AWARE? OR MAYBE THEY JUST VOTED FOR HIM AGAIN CAUSE OF ALL THE FREE STUFF? Free stuff isn't Freedom; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfyC-TEHWb0

I have a friend (well, ex friend I guess)who said she had no problem with people saying things about B.O. as long as it was true. The problem was if it was bad she automatically called it a lie. They are giving up a lot just for their stuff and even at the expense of their own children.

Agreed. The only thing we have on our sides is that we can be prepared as much as possible because we see what's going on. The B.O. crowd won't realize until it's too late that they've lost their voice.

I've had the experience of discussion where I prove a point with credible links, for instance; a video of Obama himself saying one thing and then another video of him contradicting what he had said on the first video, and still get the response 'you're lying', or some kind of excuse made for him. Never in 56 years have I seen a politician protected from bad press, held up as a messiah of some sort, and allowed to do so many Constitutionally illegal things, as Obama.

Very nice and informative. It will be interesting if any of the lefties have enough nerve to respond to this and what they will say. I looked up Romney flip-flops. Only two, the abortion bill he signed and explained, and then another while he was governor. Not anything like the media and Obama people tried to make us think during the election. Romney is a very honest man. I know he had trouble talking about things during the election because he did not want to lie like our great leader does.

Romney spoke the truth when he said he could not persuade 47% of the country to vote for him because they wanted the free stuff; considering that right after the election a Detroit assmeblywoman asked for their share of the 'bacon' cause they voted him in, and the Latino voting block reminded him we helped you, now you help us. http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/11/09/15029245-hispanics-to-obama-we-helped-you-now-you-help-us?lite Here's something interesting I found; Sen. Obama said it was wrong to raise the debt ceiling (unpatriotic) yet now Pelosi is asking for unlimited authority to do so without Congressional approval. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SLgdhvoyik http://cnsnews.com/news/article/pelosi-give-obama-power-personally-lift-debt-limit-infinity

I forgot to mention the flip flop of Obama's first term; he said he was for traditional marriage, then told Holder not to uphold DOMA, then came out as our countries 'first gay president' by saying he thought gay marriage was the way to go. But he 'evolved' didn't he? utter bias on the part of our media.

I'm trying not to be overly pessimistic, but I can't help feeling it's too late. This election was a maJor crossroads, and I'm not sure there's ever any coming back. - "Hope and Change".. well, it's change alright.. but the road we're on is not one of hope but major decline, and that's what many want and voted for. Let us all be equal they say. A nation based on liberty equal with one based on oppression and genocide? How is that possible? Or one revering the Creator God equal with one practicing voodoo? We can think and tell ourselves all things are equal, but time will prove all things. It's just too bad humans way too often need to learn things the hard way.

I struggle between a certain amount of smug satisfaction that one day I will be proven right, and a grim certitude that there will be no joy in that satisfaction.

The "health care bill" (it's actually insurance legislation, nothing to do with health care) lies particularly affects me. I'm on a fixed income but not old enough for SS or Medicare. Not poor enough for assistance, which I wouldn't take anyway as long as I have family to help out. When Obama was elected and began talking about "health care" my medical insurance went up. And up. And up. I recently had to change plans because I could not afford the premiums, which tripled since Obama got elected. Now I have a plan that covers less but has premiums I can afford. I have it so that I won't be too badly financially ruined if I have to be hospitalized. I'll still be wiped out but probably won't have to go on public assistance. Other lies affect me, too, but that's one of the most blatant and ignored. Some voted for him for the free stuff, some voted for him because he's an ultra-liberal democrat, some because he's an ultra-liberal half-black democrat. None of them looked any further than their own concerns and had no concept of what it would mean for the country's future. Or if they did, they wanted that bleak future. I'm sad for my children in their 20s. They'll probably never know real prosperity because it might take a couple of generations to dig out of this mess. A mess that was made on purpose, with malicious intent.

I read premiums have or will go up as high as $2500 more per year. And that I think, is the tip of the iceberg.

I find it interesting you mention how as soon as Obama even mentioned health care the cost started going up? It doesn't matter who is president or what anyone says, our economy has turned into a giant mock wall street, controlled by knee jerk reactions. The only problem is, we hardly ever see prices drop, only go up. Prices are continually going up based on hearsay and speculation, but they never go back down to their original prices... It doesn't matter who the president, all it takes is one "terrorist" threatening a shipping lane and gas jumps 20 cents a gallon to compensate for the oil that could be lost, if they attempt to sink a ship that might one day pass through the strait with oil headed to states... seems how many months have we been paying for that threat on the Strait or Hormuz and how many ships have been sunk?

Deb, no one is trying to take away your right to say what you want. I felt the same way when Bush was re-elected, and point out all of his lies. Has Obama lied to us? Sure. Did Bush lie to us? HELL YES he did. Has EVERY president lied to us? YES. Should this surprise you? NO!!!

What surprises me is the MSM was on Bush like flies on you know what about his lies. Where is the MSM on Obama's lies? They REPEAT them, that's where they are. And what surprises me is supposedly over HALF of America reelected him despite the obvious lies and half truths and bad policies.

I have no choice, now do I? As long as I can, I will speak my mind. It is still legal to do so, is it not? Unfortunately YOU won't deal with the fact you've been lied to.
