i can't post more than 3 smiles in a post? / myLot

my post doesn't have more than 1 smiley but today i tried to post with around 4 smiles and mylot restrict me from posting. is this restriction only for me? why did mylot have to restrict simlies with limit of 3! doesn't make any sense to me.

Its a rule here, and a good one. Someone would spam us and just post faces rather than words. Not sure anyone would ever need more than 3 faces here. 2 faced is enough to deal with here. Ha h aha

Wow, I wasn't familiar with that rule! I don't post smileys very often, I prefer writing the smileys with symbols instead of the images, like that! :-) But I agree that it sounds good to me, to avoid spamming!

It is beause if there was no restriction then some of us would post many more than 3

Everyone has a limit to 3 smilies per a discussion or post. Its not just you. I wish that we could use more then 3 cause sometimes I like to add extra but for some reason they only allow you 3.

kai: we are permitted to use smileys after getting 200 in bracket. we can use maximum of 3 smilesy for one post. this restriction is applicable for mylot members. I normally use one or two smileys . that serves the purpose of making others happy. good day.

hi Kai9999 no that restriction is for anybpdy and its been on there ever sin ce I came five years ago. I know its the pits but this is mylots site so they call the shots. Wish we could use four as that would make a lot more sense. So no you are not singled out at all.

Your discussion has recalled the memories for me as far as the smilies are concerned. After a long time I am reading something about this. I remember to have read the rule for using smilies in the responses long ago and my memory has been refreshed. We are allowed to post only 3 smilies at a time

It's Mylot limitation. But I wonder why Lamb was able to post four emoticon above.. I don't think there's favoritism here... but really made me wonder how he managed to post 4 emoticon.
