Bad Massage Gave Me Fever

Two days ago I went to Thai Odyssey, to have a relaxing thai massage but have to wait in line for 1 hour so I went to a local massage parlour. My friend advised me not to go there (the local one) but I went because my back is so hurt I just cannot wait for 1 hour. So I took 1 hour foot massage and 1 hour body massage. The foot massage was ok but then when it came to the body massage, owh my gos, it was excruciating (not to exaggerate but it really was). I told the masseuse that it hurts, she just said, bear it because that is 'wind' in your body. So instead of sleeping and enjoying I was making all this funny faces because I was in pain. Yesterday, my body started to ache ALL OVER. and now i am down with fever. Could that be the reason why? Because i think she sprained my neck also and all my joint, fingers, elbow, kness, all joints are painful right now. I am now in the office with gloves and boots to shield the coldness of the aircond..

So, you went into a wrong massage parlor to get relax. I never had such bad experience as this one as you described above. Usually I think those masseuses would accommodate your needs and your opinion about their skill. Last time, the masseuse was push hard enough, rather I felt tickle on my foot. I guess that you should wait that Thai Odyssey instead, probably there are more professionals work in there.

Yes, I should have just wait.. if I did, I won't feel this ache like this now.

hi chi2nasrin I think what happened is you got the flu from someone in line and now you are down with it aches and all. Call your doctor and b e checked as you may need an antibiotic for your health as you could have bacterial infection too.
