Another interesting thing I found in the May issue of Readers Digest that I flipped through at physio today, was a novel cat scratching toy.

It looks like a turntable. The cat pictured with it sure looks like he knows what he's doing.

Harmony would rather pick at the carpet inside but will use a tree outside.

What a wonderful toy! What a wonderful invention, all that cat needs is some headphones and he's all set up to play DJ! My cats would have loved this for sure, especially the youngest. And very reasonably priced too. DJ Kittens is on the decks!

Tink was bad at scratching. I had the corugetted box like that and it fits in the middle with a lip that has a ball in a ring around it. I also spent 100.00 on a two tier one thinking they would like crawling around and scratching on it.
So with all that said, I went and got him declawed last May. Only thing now is when he is running, he has no traction with no front claws. Looks like a cat on ice LOL.

I had gotten one of the corrugated box ones for Harmony, but she never used it.

absolutely cool. I am a cat person who cant give a kitty a home as the renting contract for the apartment forbids to..... but when I wont have to work any more we will move elsewhere and make sure we can take two feline friends with us. That would be the perfect gift for them......

That's too bad that you're being forced to be kittyless.
