i don`t know for the chelsea fans, is it good or bad news? maybe because of age, lampard will move to another club.. The competition in midfielder area push chelsea management maybe have no choice for convincing Lampard that he can be the starting eleven.. what is the effect for chelsea if Lampard really moves to another club? many fans of chelsea still want Lampard stay longer in Stamford bridge

It is definitely bad news for any Chelsea fans. I don't think that there are any Chelsea fans who don't love Lampard. But there will come a day for any hero to say goodbye. Chelsea is transforming. They have to renew themselves to remain competitive. So it is just inevitable that Lampard will have to leave as he is still keen to play, unless of course if he could accept that he will be just used as a substitute, which I don't think he likes. The fact that he is wanted by a lot of teams in England or in Europe shows that he is not short of choices. He will definitely leave for a big team in January or in the summer.

but i hear that his agent once again said that Lampard is still staying in Stamford Bridge until the end of this season so it means that he didn`t go anywhere in January transfer

In that case, Lampard will be getting a big sign-on fee from the next team he will be signing with, as he will be a free agent at the end of the season. In Chelsea's case, they will like to keep Lampard in the squad just in case his service is needed in their quest of honors this season as they have not given up their hope to compete for the EPL championship or at least, to confirm a place in next season's UCL.

I think Lampard still has more to offer Chelsea but it is up to management to say if they want him to remain there or not. He is still one of England best Midfielders. It will a shame if they let him go. It look like a new trend in the EPL that all the teams are letting go of their stalwarts. Tell me what you think.

Yea I think so. It looks like they are going for younger players and building their team around Torres and the Brazilians. The also just got Damba from Newcastle, so they have someone to replace Drogba. He already socred two goals in the FA cup 3rd round. What you think.

I think Lampard will definitely leave Chelsea at the end of this season. The problem is that the Chelsea management is not yet coming up with an offer for the midfielder. I think Chelsea are making a mistake, but it seems that it is their policy with players above 31, so Lampard might be looking at other options. Cheers! Ram

yes, many club are afraid that their 30 years older can`t give many contribution but it didn`t happen in my team, AS ROMA.. we still have totti, who are 35 years if iam not wrong.. De Rossi now is 29 years old..and maybe we can wait that he can play until more than 32 years old..

From the various news report, Lampard could leave as early as during the January transfer window. Having seen him scored three goals in the last two games, including the FA Cup tie, one wonder if it is a wise choice to second the player who is joint-second top scorer. As for the fans, they sure would prefer to see the player retire at the club.

When people is aging, usually they will be replaced by the younger ones. Only some rare cases old player could stay long at his club until he retires. Maldini is one of them. Players like Giggs and Scholes are more lucky they could stay on Man Utd (probably) until they're retired. Anyway, good luck for Lampard. Hope he'll get a better opportunity in his old ages.

yes, many club didn`t want to consider the role of their older player Juventus release Del piero because of his age.. the good one, Totti is still needed by ROMA even he is reaching 35 years old..Totti is unique..When many players in his era had been stayed in the bench, his contribution, charisma are still useful in the club.. well..back to the lampard, i think Management should keep him longer..he is still useful and should end his end of his career in Chelsea..but i don`t know the consideration of the chelsea management

That's a huge mistake by Chelsea and Abramovich, but it seems like Lampard's time in Chelsea is about to finish.Even I, as Liverpool fan, want Lampard stay at stamford bridge, simply because he is a legend of premier league.
